My Very Unsual & Busy weekend!!

Posted in Hoosier Girls

I had a very unusual and busy weekend.  I had three girl friends over Friday night. We went and got pizza then goofed around out in the horse pasture. Then I think we went to my room and started to joke around again . We fell asleep somewhere around there.

So here is where we get to the unusual part….

We woke up around 6:30, got up and got dressed; we then proceed to put the cage that had all our roosters in it in the bed of the truck.  We then went to the gas station to get some donuts. We  went to a ladies house that my sister new.  We took them to her back yard and she taugh  us how to take a live chicken and put it on the table for dinner. (She  taught us how to kill them and cut them all up.) We got a lot of meat out of all of them.  So yes it was a very unusual morning.

So after that things got more normal we than went home and we put all of the cut up chickens  in a cold water.  We went to subway after that and had a great time there joking around.

We then went home went riding and had an awesome time.

While I’m talking about horses I don’t think I told u about the horse that I’m now trying to sell.

I have been trying to sell her before she goes home in two weeks, I have been working  with her every day that I can. She is a very sweet horse and she learns really well. I also think she will get better with age.

Ok moving on we then went to pick apples.

Witch I will tell u later what we did with them Monday .  We also took a lot of fun and random pics.   So after that my two friends Miriam & Marah went home.

But my friend Savannah stayed the night again we went to Wal-Mart and Target, we got some apple cider, snacks,” Iran Man” , and a couple other things. So we went home watched the movie ate the snacks then we went to bed….  (Man was I tired!!!!)

So the next day we woke up straiten the house and got my dad out on the horses for the first time ever on our horses. That was so much fun and the Major the horse my dad rode, was really really good.  ( He use to be my bucking horse)

(Major is the one off all four.)

We got done just in time for church. Before it started  my dad, Savannah and I ran  and got some donuts   for everyone.  We had a really good serves. After that Sav and I gave the kids a trail ride with the horses.  O and my mom served one of the big chickens for lunch it was really good.

Ok well that was my weekend but the fun dint stop there. Today we went over to my fiends house Miriam and Marah and them and their mom  taught us how to can tomatoes & apples, make apple pie, and how to make bread for pizza. We used the apples we picked sat.

So that was what we have done so far, but tomorrow I am going out to eat with a couple of my friends. The rest of the week is pretty full to but I won’t go in to that right now.

Ok well that was my weekend.

Oh and one more thing, my mom and a couple other people gave all off us a nick name

 " Hoosier Girls"

Hope u have a good week!!!

Rachel

Is there a story to go along with the nick name? I love the horse pictures. I never did learn how to ride bareback. I miss riding. Looks like a lot of fun.

That horse you are trying to sell is beautiful!! I love horseys, and that one looks just like a horse I would want, except for the fact she is a mare. =) I'm thinking I want a gelding.
Just out of curiosity, how much are you selling her for?

Actually I'm not getting any horses, I'm just wishing really bad that we could. We have enough land for one but I'm gonna be leaving for college soon and wouldn't be able stay home and pay for it and take care of it. When I get older I hope I can get a horse though, either just a plain QH, or a Norwegian Fjord.
Now those there that you have, what kind of horse are they? They remind me of Halflingers but I'm not for total sure that is what they are.

Yeah the Norwegian Fjords I think are my favorite horse. =) Donkeys I also like a lot, I actually used to have one but she tried to kill our goats so we had to get rid of her. :'( She was green broke and I was training her, though she was a real pain in the neck. =P

Actually I'm not sure that I'm even going to college, but if I go I want to major in Music Performance and Pedagogy, then maybe minor in Drama or Physiology.
