Majic

I don’t think I have told u about my new horse yet. Well I got him a couple of months ago.

He’s a Modern Haflinger colt out of one of the best Modern Haflinger stallions. His mom is a really good brood mare, she is so well tempered. She’s what u would call a bomb proof horse. So with her being so sweet that then transfers over to Magic.

He’s going to be our ranch stallion. I’m going to show him in a lot of shows and try to get himself a really good name in the Haflinger world. I hope he will be really tall, at least as tall as my Major. Major is 15.1 which is pretty tall for Haflinger.

Ok, well that’s my new horse that I’m pretty excited about. If u have any suggestions for training a colt please tell. Thanks for reading!!!

Oh, how sweet!! I saw some pictures of him on your mom's blog - very fun!!

How I get Annie to follow me with no lead rope, is first I gained her full trust and that she wants to be with me - which I'm sure you have (we have learned this from Parelli). Then you just start working up to it by slowly let the rope go looser and looser, then one day I tried it with no leadrope. Sometimes she still walks away when she finds out that she's free, then I just got to stop her. Now Parelli challenges to do everything with just a little rope around her neck, that's going to take some work!! I'm excited for when I can ride Annie all around like you do, she's doing good so far.

Hi!!

Sorry it took me a little bit to answer back to your comment, but now I am!!

Well, about why we're not riding our horses alot yet. When we first got them we were still very new to horses, so we didn't ride at all. But now we're back to it, and I hope to ride all around soon!
