Wisconsin Dells
|
Last Tuesday we left for the Wisconsin Dells, we got to go on vacation w/ good friend of my family.
They are a very amazing family!! They have helped us w/ camps, horses, all kinds of work on the ranch, always willing to help in anyway they can!!

Mr. Vale had a time share condo at the Wisconsin Dells, and when he invited my family to go w/ them two months ago we were all elated!!! Tons of fun slides, lazy riser, wave pool w/ a roof that will give u a suntan in the middle of winter, all in-doors!! What else could be better when its 3 degrees out side!!
We were there for four days, and had tons of fun!! One of the things I enjoyed the most was getting to spend tons of time w/ my niece Kayla!! She was soo cute!!

Then besides being w/ every one, the
“Hurricane Slide” was really awesome!!! And has to be the best slide ever!!! If u ever go to the Wisconsin Dells u have to go on that slide at least once!! There are 101 steps up to the top and then it gets dark w/ a couple scary lights and then theirs thunder sounds and lights that look like lighting. It can be a two, three, or four person ride. It’s the best when u take four people and go sideways, when u come out of the first hole into the main part of the ride u almost fill like your going to flip, but don’t worry u wont, just make sure u hold on tight!!!!
I think I went on that ride at least a 20 times but I think it was probily a lot more!!!!! Unfurchanly I dont have any pics of that slide so u will just have to go see it for ur self I'm afraid. ;)
But I do have on of the "Lazy Rizer"

The fellowship was great too!!! We cooked all our meals together, ate together, and had bible studies together. It was a great time with every one! I really enjoyed that!!
Every one Chilling after a hard day of swimming. =)
Ok well that was my trip to the Dells for the first time. The Vales are talking about taking another trip in late summer or sometime like that, so that we can hit all the water parks at the Dells. I think there’s at least 4 in-door water parks and just as many if not more out side. I really hope we get to go here again with every one, it was a ton of fun!!!
Yahweh Bless

Hiii =)

Hii, every one!! So I’m pretty sure I failed when I said I was going to try to keep up my blog, but I hope to do better this time!! One of the reasons I haven’t been here is because of “Facebook” (besides being incredibly busy!!) but I quit my facebook, and soon found I miss writing on line and talking to friends, and quite frankly missed the homeschool blog and every one on here!! So I hope to get to talk to all of u again!
So I think its been over a year since I wrote anything on here, & a ton of stuff had happed since then but I seem to not be able to think of anything right now…..
Lets see……

Well, we had our first camp this summer! It was a all girl teenage camp. Even though we had plenty of kids running around all week. It went really well and I know for a fact that all the girls can’t wait to come back next summer!! I was able to be one of the head counselors, and I really enjoyed working w/ the girls and I learned a ton of stuff too!!

We had another camp later in October, this time it was a family day camp. And that was shorter but it went really good. All the family’s totally enjoyed it, I don’t think there was one family there that didn't tell me more than once how much they enjoyed it!!
I think one of the reasons that the parents enjoyed it so much— is with all the things family’s try to do these days, rushing here and there doing this and that, in the end they don’t really ever get to slow down enjoy the life Yahweh has given them and enjoy their family!! The family’s totally took it easy with their family, got to have fellowship with other Christians, and had a lot of fun at the camp!!
And how could the kids not enjoy it with hayrides, bonfires, and horse back riding!!
I will post pics of both the camps as soon as I can, but if u would like to get to see a really good post on the All Girl camp u could go to my
~~~mom’s blog~~~ .
Thats just one of them though, I think she did nine or ten of them!! Their all great, and the pics are a lot of fun to look at even if u dont have enough time to read all of them!!!
We have also taken several trips this last fall and I hope to write about them & put some pics!!
And then there is the Tea Party I did for my sisters 11th
Birthday, that one
will be a fun one to write about!! It was a really cute party, but I think my mom is going to beat me to that one, I’ll still write something about it!! =)
And then we had two baby horses born early summer, my mom has also done two totally awesome post on that!!, but I’ll put some pics up on my own blog. There’s a lot more that has happed then that, but I guess I’ll write about it as I remember. J Ok well I’m really happy to be back on
Majic
|
I don’t think I have told u about my new horse yet. Well I got him a couple of months ago.
He’s a Modern Haflinger colt out of one of the best Modern Haflinger stallions. His mom is a really good brood mare, she is so well tempered. She’s what u would call a bomb proof horse. So with her being so sweet that then transfers over to Magic.
He’s going to be our ranch stallion. I’m going to show him in a lot of shows and try to get himself a really good name in the Haflinger world. I hope he will be really tall, at least as tall as my Major. Major is 15.1 which is pretty tall for Haflinger.
Ok, well that’s my new horse that I’m pretty excited about. If u have any suggestions for training a colt please tell. Thanks for reading!!!
Have a great day………..
My Very Unsual & Busy weekend!!
|
I had a very unusual and busy weekend. I had three girl friends over Friday night. We went and got pizza then goofed around out in the horse pasture. Then I think we went to my room and started to joke around again . We fell asleep somewhere around there.
So here is where we get to the unusual part….
We woke up around 6:30, got up and got dressed; we then proceed to put the cage that had all our roosters in it in the bed of the truck. We then went to the gas station to get some donuts. We went to a ladies house that my sister new. We took them to her back yard and she taugh us how to take a live chicken and put it on the table for dinner. (She taught us how to kill them and cut them all up.) We got a lot of meat out of all of them. So yes it was a very unusual morning.
So after that things got more normal we than went home and we put all of the cut up chickens in a cold water. We went to subway after that and had a great time there joking around.
We then went home went riding and had an awesome time.
While I’m talking about horses I don’t think I told u about the horse that I’m now trying to sell.
I have been trying to sell her before she goes home in two weeks, I have been working with her every day that I can. She is a very sweet horse and she learns really well. I also think she will get better with age.
Ok moving on we then went to pick apples.
Witch I will tell u later what we did with them Monday . We also took a lot of fun and random pics. So after that my two friends Miriam & Marah went home.
But my friend Savannah stayed the night again we went to Wal-Mart and Target, we got some apple cider, snacks,” Iran Man” , and a couple other things. So we went home watched the movie ate the snacks then we went to bed…. (Man was I tired!!!!)
So the next day we woke up straiten the house and got my dad out on the horses for the first time ever on our horses. That was so much fun and the Major the horse my dad rode, was really really good. ( He use to be my bucking horse)
(Major is the one off all four.)
We got done just in time for church. Before it started my dad, Savannah and I ran and got some donuts for everyone. We had a really good serves. After that Sav and I gave the kids a trail ride with the horses. O and my mom served one of the big chickens for lunch it was really good.
Ok well that was my weekend but the fun dint stop there. Today we went over to my fiends house Miriam and Marah and them and their mom taught us how to can tomatoes & apples, make apple pie, and how to make bread for pizza. We used the apples we picked sat.
So that was what we have done so far, but tomorrow I am going out to eat with a couple of my friends. The rest of the week is pretty full to but I won’t go in to that right now.
Ok well that was my weekend.
Oh and one more thing, my mom and a couple other people gave all off us a nick name
" Hoosier Girls"
Hope u have a good week!!!
Ok Well, We Did It Again..........
For more "Show and Tells" go to .....
We went to "TSC"
We had bought a little paddle boat last time we were there, and they where supposed to deliver it, but they never came. So we decided we better check on it.....
Well, we were walking around the store again and we went by where the chickens were ....
There were the cutest DUCKS!!!!!!!!!
We showed my dad and he said we could get four. Josh, Ruthie, Jacob, and me all picked out one.
They are living with the chickens for now. When they get older we are going to build them a shelter on the island.
As they grow, they will turn into white ducks, but they won't be able to fly, we've been told. They can stand the cold winters we get,
So they sound like really good ducks.
The guy there told us that since they will kinda resemble a swan, they will keep the geese away.. Which is really really good!!
Well, my mom and I went to Shipawana on Tuesday. It was a lot of fun and I will write about it on Sat if I get a chance... Whenever I do write about it I will tell you what other farm animal we bought while we where there.......
My Bedroom
For More "Show and Tells" go to
.
.
.
About a year ago I got to completely redo my bedroom. My mom and I had a hard time deciding on what we wanted to do in there, but we finally decided that we would do a "Western Themed "
bedroom, special effect paint, and wood floor.
.
.
My Bed
My mom wanted an "organic mattress," and probably as all of you are thinking, my family also thought that was "crazy." Many many jokes were made out of the "organic mattress," but in the end we got an organic mattress, and a free organic pillow. Now every time someone comes up to my bedroom, lays on my bed, and puts their head on my pillow, they tell me that they are going to take it, or say that they wish they had one. So if you haven't caught on yet, my "organic mattress" is very very very comfy, and "Healthy."
.
.
My Dresser
A couple things have changed in this pic since it was taken. The doors are now painted white and there is a pic above the dresser.
.
.
My Night Stand
The dresser, bed, and the night stand are all made out of
cedar wood by the Amish.
The wood smells so so so good. For about a month my mom kept stopping by my room and just sticking her head in to smell it.
.
.
This is the paint color in my room.
The color that is on my ceiling is the color that is under the orange that is on my walls. Every day for about a week the color on my wall would change and look a little different
It was a lot of fun to come into the room every day and see how the paint had changed !!!!
There was three steps to getting my paint to be that color. I don't have a pic of the first but it was a solid color. Then we painted small Xs all over that, and that was step 2. Then we painted small Xs over step 2 and that was step 3, and we get our final color.
Step 1
Paint a solid color of some type of blue.
Step 2
My Ceiling ^^^
My Walls ^^^^
.
.
My Wood Floor
This wood floor is not an every day wood floor. It is the original wood floor that was put in when the house was built 150 years ago. We stained the wood floor two or three times and I think it looks beautiful, but maybe that's just me.....
This is what it looked like before we stained it.
.
.
My View
This window is the right window in the pic below,
And this one is the left one in the pic above.
.
.
When people see my bed they always say that it looks like you could hitch a horse up to it.
