Jul. 17, 2008 - Prayer Needed

I am seeking Gods face early this am. Several things, my son just bought a car from a wholesaler-it failed inspection and is now in my driveway and will not start, My husbands car died and had to be repaired with money we do not have and now I will be at the Gynecologist at 11am this morning to have precancer cells removed from my cervix. My biopsy from the surgery came back not well. I will find out more after this next biopsy, how bad it is. The Lord is in control and trying to teach us all new and wonderful things about Him. Keep us in prayer during this time. My doctor is not covered by the insurance that I have so we are paying cash for the hospital, as well as all of the procedures after that. Keep that in prayer as well. Money for everyone is tight these days. The Lord provides. Thank you and may the Lord shine His face upon you!!

May. 29, 2008 - Prayer Request

For those of you that have been praying for me .. Thank you.. This has been a trying 9 months for me. God is so faithful. With personal issues as well as all my medical issues since September, wearing heart monitors, x-rays, cardiologist, endocrinologist, nephrologist, emergency room visits.. my head has not been on and I thank God for carrying me through all this. My son Anthony was away at boot camp, he is now in VIrgina. That was a bunch to handle as well. I have lost friends in the process. I have become closer to the Lord in the process. I have realized whom I can depend on , whom does not judge as well as who my real friends are. It has been a great trial and continues... The Lord will show me through that as well. An accaintance of mine, Christina commited suicide 3 weeks ago, she left behind a husband (Mike) and a 3 year old son.  I just thank God for those of you that take the time to pray for fellow brotheres and sisters in CHrist. I just pray that my actions will that of CHrists... When I sign my e-mails under HIS Grace it really means somthing to me.. Without HIS grace I would be destined to Hell, because I am a sinner as everyone else. The grace that the Lord bestows upon us should be seen more often in HIS church. May God bless you today and Thank you for your prayers.

May. 6, 2008 - URGENT PRAYER

Please pray for Steve and I ..  Steves friend Mike, went home to find this note on his front door. "please do not let the baby see me like this" He did not go in, but called the police. His wife hung herself. They are unbelievers. Please pray that we can use this to bring Mike to salvation. Needless to say, I am in a fog.

Jan. 30, 2008 - Results of tests...

Praise the LORD!!!  It is not LUPUS...  that is what the preliminary tests show... now more tests.... more blood, more urine, EKG, Echo cardiogram, Kidney tests... so they can find out what is going on..  My blood pressure is insane and my kidney is failing..  They now need to find out why... kidneys and blood pressure go hand in hand so just continue to pray for me.

2 Chronicles 6:18-20 (New King James Version)

18 “But will God indeed dwell with men on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You. How much less this temple which I have built! 19 Yet regard the prayer of Your servant and his supplication, O LORD my God, and listen to the cry and the prayer which Your servant is praying before You: 20 that Your eyes may be open toward this temple day and night, toward the place where You said You would put Your name, that You may hear the prayer which Your servant makes toward this place.

Jan. 22, 2008 - Prayer Request

For those of you that knew that I was going for testing, well here are the results. I  have damage to my right kidney... they are ruling out LUPUS. This is what I found out about it on AOL ...Lupus is an autoimmune disease that can affect various parts of the body, including the skin, joints, heart, lungs, blood, kidneys and brain. Normally the body's immune system makes proteins called antibodies, to protect the body against viruses, bacteria, and other foreign materials. These foreign materials are called antigens.

In an autoimmune disorder like lupus, the immune system cannot tell the difference between foreign substances and its own cells and tissues. The immune system then makes antibodies directed against itself. These antibodies -- called "auto-antibodies" (auto means 'self') -- cause inflammation, pain and damage in various parts of the body.

I have more testing that I am going through so please pray for me. Also my blood pressure is wacky.

The children do not know, I do not want them to worry. Anthony leaves in 7 days for Basic Training. Peter did well in school today. Stephie as well. The twins were working hard in their math books today. Mema was here today, she came yesterday. We will keep her until Friday (against her will of course!!!)

Have a great night..  God Bless

Jan. 11, 2008 - Please Pray!!

Anthony and Courtney were in a car accident last night about 7pm. They left the Chinese Resturant and were driving on the highway, a woman pulled out of the lot and smashed right into them. Anthony smashed his knee under the dash board on the steering wheel. No broken bones..  Thank God!!!  Courtney has really bad whip lash and hit her face on the window!!  She is in pain, but no broken bones, stitches etc.. etc... We ask for prayer that the insurance company of the woman who hit him takes full responsibility and repairs the car or totals it and gives Anthony a check. Because of Anthonys age his collision on the car was so expensive that he chose not to have collision. So if he is to get anything taken care of, it will be through the other parties insurance. Also pray for complete healing of both of them. They are hurting. God was with them.

Thank you

Jan. 6, 2008 - Thank God for Our Freedom

Thinking of the freedom we have...... Thank God for that.  There was an Evangelist that came to speak at our church... He said "if it wasn't for the American Soldier, I would not have had the choice to become a believer in Jesus Christ." He was a muslim and his family disowned him. Thank God for those serving our Country. Pray for a soldier today, even if you do not know one. Better yet, find out how you can keep in touch with someone over seas. Get out of the comfort zone and just do it. You will bless someone as you are blessed.

Jan. 5, 2008 - Prayer Request

Dear Brothers and Sister in Christ,

This blog is being written  with great excitement knowing that you will pray for Anthony. He is officially leaving for the United States Army on January 30th. Please keep him in your prayers. We all know the how the devil likes to creep in and steal. This has been a decision that Anthony has pondered for several years. He has made this decision based on a career move. (he would like to be some type of law enforcement officer). He originally wanted to be an MP (Military Police). That "job" is not available in this unit area at this time. He will go through basic training in North Carolina and then be shipped to Virginia for school. He will learn to be a supply specialist. He seems very excited and happy with the decision that he has made. I believe that if this is not what the Lord wanted for him, he would not have gone this far. I thank God that I can see my oldest son graduate from home, go to a semester at college ( studying criminal justice) and become an American Soldier. Of course with all this we have the war on terror going on. Please pray steadfast that the Lord protects Anthony in all he does and that he keeps his eyes on the Lord. If you would like to keep in contact with Anthony, let me know and I will send you his address as soon as I have it. He WILL NEED letters encouraging him in the things of the Lord. The Army is a very dark place. (drugs, sex, porno. etc. etc. ) you get the idea. Just a quick note of encouragement to those homeschoolers that sometimes doubt themselves about the education of their children..... I was called by the ESS (education service specialist) from Fort Hamilton. They wanted to know what Curriculum Anthony was taught with in HS. He scored so high on the AS-VAT that he could have any job he wanted. That is a plus for Home schoolers.!!!  God Bless you all this New Year.

Under HIS Mercy,
