Unit 1 Spelling Words

I am starting on my second grade, unit 1 spelling words today. I have about 22 words to learn for unit one. Most of them sound out, so they are not too hard. I am a little rusty on the ch sound, so I focused on that today. Two of the words are sight words, so I am working to memorize those because they don't follow the rules. Here are my words:. I will come back in and mark them off of the list as I think that I have memorize them perfectly. Just click on it to see it bigger. You can see the main words and the sight words in the plastic sleeve just to my right. The cousin words are not listed. Once I get these mastered then I will work on the cousin ones.Some of the ways I practice are to play Boggle Scramble, write them, and spell out loud when mom calls out the word.
