The challenges of waiting for a house...

So, for those of you that don't know, we have been in housing limbo for the majority of the past year! Now, before you think that the military is all bad "and stuff" (thrown in for my Nacho Libre friends), we have chosen some of this but some of it was completely by surprise!We found out that Clint was being deployed shortly after we moved away from all our friends and family in central Texas. That was not exactly great timing, but now that it is 1/2 over, I think we are going to make it! We are staying with friends in TX waiting for a house to close on. We have already changed houses once and I was willing to wait until Mar 1. Well, Mar 1 is coming up pretty fast and we are still waiting. We have been with out a house of our own in TX since the beginning of Nov! Yes, living with people for 4 months! We are doing well, and we are very blessed with some of the best friends in the WORLD!! They have let us live with them, helped us shoulder the challenges that have come our way, and they have been so amazing in helping me with the kids. I don't think I could have made it through this deployment without my dear friends here in Texas. You all are awesome. Katie and Andy, I don' t even know where to start... I don' t think there are enough words to say how much we appreciate all you have done for us. Floria's, Geiger's, Bealand's, White's, Phillip's, Smith's, Passmore's - thank you so much for being our family and giving the Rhoades a break from us from time to time! We love you all!
