Get the creative juices flowing...somehow!
I have had increasing thoughts lately of writing. I'm referring to the creative type of writing, not just journaling or sending birthday notes to family and friends. However, having been out of the workforce for two years, I feel somewhat unprepared and definitely un-creative. (Now, I know that un-creative is not really a proper word, but somehow it just describes me perfectly.) I feel as though my ten-year-old daughter is likely to be published one day soon, whereas I'm having trouble composing a suitable phrase for a wedding card.
So, here's what I'd like: your suggestions on topics, websites that may help me get started, your own experiences with creative writing (or the lack thereof), or even just anecdotes about life in your part of the world. (Mine, by the way, is Central Florida.)
