Wean myself off caffeine and sugar. Because I’ve done this for so many years now, I don’t consume very much caffeine or sugar...I don’t drink coffee, I don’t eat chocolate, so I turn this into a treasure hunt trying to eliminate as many sugar-sources as I can find. This year with the heat, my “temptation” has been slurpies from the gas station.
I’ll also start taking activities I do on a daily basis and figure out a way to make it more aerobic. Park on the opposite end of the parking lot at the store and jog to the door. Do lunges while vacuuming. “March in place” while standing at the stove stirring dinner. I also resolve to actually walk on my treadmill, use my sit-up exercise equipment, and do leg lifts. Since we just moved, and that is the one room I haven’t finished unpacking yet (b/c I want to have the carpet replaced) this will be good motivation to get that done too!
And finally, make sure I've got ~$125 set aside for next week when I will buy the groceries I'll need for weeks 4-6.
