...Make Your way straight before my face. Psalm 5:8 (NKJV)
So you’re on your way to getting things organized, but it probably hasn’t been easy. You’re doing something different than normal, and that certainly affects everyone around you. It’s not easy changing what’s “normal”, even when you’re making a positive change. It takes time to make something new a habit, but don’t give up. You’re doing the right thing by trying to get things back on track and in order.
Don’t feel lost and helpless in your quest either. No matter how far behind you are, the Lord will make a path for you (no matter how much clutter needs to be cleared!). Take a moment to visualize God taping a note to your forehead... on it is want He wants you to accomplish… What does it say? You will be able to see it i
f your focus
remains on Him. Keep your focus on Him in ALL the things that you do this week. Seek His will for your life, and if at any point you begin to loose sight of Him, refer back to that note taped on your forehead that reads, “His Way Everyday!”
Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your goodness and caring enough for me that You would have a plan for me to seek. Make Your way straight before my face. I pray that Your will would be clear to me as I go about each day.. I know that You have a plan for me, and that plan is not just for the future but for today as well. Make it as clear to me as a note taped to my forehead, and if I diverge from Your plan, feel free to “slap” another note on (gently)!
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
