July 3, 2006 - Detailed Cleaning Lists

Here are the DETAILED CLEANING LISTS for The CHCHC.  They will help you to clean out each room/area of your home during the challenge.  There may be more than what you need to do on them, or you may find that it's too much.  This is only a list to help.  Disregard what doesn't apply to you and your home.
When looking over the lists, turn the back of your organizer in the "CHALLENGE" section and on your "To-Do" List, fill in the notes sections of the rooms/areas (pencil is best so you can erase if need be).  This will help you to remember what needs to be done.  For example, the "To-Do" list says floor.  You must decide whether you're going to vacuum or wash the carpet. You can do this all at once (go through the rooms looking over and deciding what needs to get done), or as the weekly challenges occur (maybe Sunday evening before the week begins).  Either way, don't get stressed out by the detailed lists.  As I said, they include a lot of things and are there as a guideline to help you stay focused.  Do what you can, and if you don't get done with everything, just erase it and write what you did do instead.  Be sure to mark the dates down as well.  That way you'll know when the last time was that it got cleaned, or you'll know what you still have to do.

Good luck!  You can do it!
Bless your heart and home,
Amy

I had to swap the outdoor chores for an indoor room.
The weather we have at the moment just isn't good for workign outside, so I'm doign my living room today, tomorrow and Wednesday instead. Hopefully next weeks weather will be mroe conducive to working outside. I also forgot to take before photos!

I decided to do my front yard since it needed mowing and I knew that I could do the vehicle today... just cross out the day on your "At-A-Glance" calendar so you can be sure to stay on schedule and keep up the great work! It's all helping!

Bless your heart and home,
Amy

July 17, 2006 - Hello there!

Hello Dear Friend
I haven’t been here in a while and occasionally I will comment on YoungSeeds. We have been a little unfaithful with our CHCHC. Anyway, I wanted to let you know that I think we are getting back to it though! I have been on my hands and knees scrubbing and clearing clutter. We are having some family over in the next week so that is sort-a a boost! I have been washing the winds but every time I look they’re dirty again! The reason being is because 7db1 is just that height to where he will stand and lick the window and rub his face all over it!!! UGH!
I have also been trying to dust the cobwebs! And have been improving the “looks” of the house…so, there you have a little update on our CHCHC. We have a HUGE garden and have been tending to that along with the goats. Well, hope everything is going well with Judah and the other littles!

Sincerely,

August 21, 2006 - Very late in starting... is it too late?

Hi, my mom unfortunately passed away the day that the challenge began in July. I'm overwhelmed still, of course and now can't find my keys. I'm determined to not get another set until I've gone through this challenge. I am the mom of 2 year old b/g twins so if anyone needs this it's me!
