This is my first post on my new blog. I am excited to share with you about some of the books that we have been reading, and maybe about some of the other neat stuff that we have been doing for school.

I need to start this blog off with a good description of what a LapBook is. We have made about five LapBooks so far. They are so much fun to make. It is a wonderful way to learn about subject. Anyway, since we use them so often, it is important to understand what I am talking about. Since a picture is worth a thousand words...

This was our first attempt at LapBooks, so it was pretty simple (looking, I mean). It was a lot of work for me. Vanessa is not writing much yet, so I did most of the work. It was also a lot of fun.
