Thanksgiving

It has taken me a little time to find these pictures because my camera was MIA. But this is the LapBook that we did for Thanksgiving. When I started doing LapBooks with my kids I found so many resources online for free that I said I would "never spend money on a LapBook." Well, never say never... I purchased this LapBook from www.currclick.com, and it has been the easiest LapBook we have done yet.

This is Vanessa with the cover.

This is Vallerie with the cover of her LapBook.

This is the inside of one half. This LapBook was two folders glued together at the flaps. This is Vallerie's. You can tell because the pilgrims and indians are colorful. Vanessa went for a more authentic look.

This is some of the mini-books opened. The pop-up books were so neat, and so easy.

This is the other side of the LapBook.

This picture is with all the pieces pulled out from Tic-Tac-Toe and the Pattern Cards. That is also Vallerie's hand demonstrating the wheel.

Like I said, this was the easiest LapBook we had done yet. It even came with pictures showing how to lay it out. The LapBook was also a lot of fun for the girls, which is important at their age.

Blessings,

Abby

This is where I am going to write about some of the books I use for teaching my kids, read myself, and just enjoy. Also, I might just rant and rave if I feel like it.
