As I am catching up on other people's blogs, and spending some very valuble time with friends, I realize that I am thankful that God gives us new beginnings. It is only a few weeks into the new year, but people have organized school rooms, and junk rooms, started exercising, and making family a priority... I think that God realizes that as humans, we need a new start in order to be able to accomplish our life.

God gave us a new year, a new month, a new week, even a new day. (I know "technically" God didn't set up our calendar, but I believe he planted the idea in whoever's head...) The seasons go around the year, and there is a new spring every year. When we become a christian God gives us a new beginning at life. My favorite day of the week is Monday, the first day of the work week.

I love that God gives us that new beginning, whenever it is, to push us.
