Our New Pool

     Last Monday we got a new pool.  It is big!  For the last few years we always got a 'baby' pool because my little sisters were small.  But this year, Mom and Dad bought us a pool large enough for our whole family to swim in! 

My pet Whiskers has green eyes.  She is a calico cat.  She is fat and has cute paws.  She likes to sleep, lie in the sun, eat and play (sometimes).

This was my writing assignment for today~

Wow  we had  a big ice storm!   It  took our electricity out for two nights in a row.  We stayed in my mom and dad's bedroom to keep warm.  We didn't have any heat and my mom couldn't make breakfast or dinner.  Yesterday morning our electricity came back on. Now we have heat and warm stuff to drink.

Dear Readers,

Hello!  My name is Abby.  I am 10 years old.  I have been homeschooled all of my life.  This blog is going to be my reading journal.  But first, let me tell you a little bit about me.  I have been in ballet for 6 years.  I have been in  the Nutcracker Ballet 6 times!  The roles I danced were little mouse, little angel (twice), Snow flurry, Little Doll, Bon Bon, and a Soldier.  I was not able to be in the Nutcracker this year because I hurt my knee.  

So instead of ballet, this year I am singing in our Church's choir.  I love it!  I sang at the Christmas Mass this year.  It was beautiful.

I am a big fan of babies!!!!!!!!!! I love them because they are so cute.  When I grow I want to have 13 babies!  Right now, I have 10 baby dolls. 

I also love to play Barbies with my 2 little sisters - Alexis and Aubrey.  Alexis is 8 years old and Aubrey is 5 1/2 years old.  I also have an older sister named Anna.  She is 18 and in college.

Well, I think that is all I have to tell you now!
