The new school year
We are finishing our 5th week of first grade. It is going so much better this year than last year. I'm not sure if it is maturity, medication, or being the only one at home. (Probably a combination of all three.)
Big brother is finishing his fourth week of private school. He is doing well. He has an A in all classes so far. He is playing football (they have an undefeated record so far. They play again tonight.) He is making friends (which was, after all, the point.) He is well liked and well known.
It is frustrating to me to have people ask when E will join C at The King's Academy. Never. He is a junior. If she ever goes to TKA, it won't be for several years, and he will graduate next year, so they would never be there at the same time.
Oh well, I'm glad he is doing well, and glad for peace and progress at home.
