Who loves chocolate?
We do.
Here is the newest gf recipe I am trying. It is in the oven baking as I type.
Gluten-free Delirious Chocolate Cake
7 oz of baker's chocolate
14 TBSP unsalted butter
almost 1 cup of superfine sugar
6 eggs, separated (you will use both parts, so save!)
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Melt butter and chocolate together. I used microwave on 50% power. Set aside to cool slightly.
3. Whisk egg whites till stiff and then slowly add the sugar to add volume to the egg whites.
4. Fold in the egg yolks with a metal spoon and then the chocolate mixture.
5. Pour into greased 9 inch cake pan.
6. Bake for one hour.
7. Leave to cool and then EAT!
Caution: Do not set the open carton of eggs on the edge of the counter. I spilled it and wasted five unused eggs...the dogs were happy for the treat however. What a MESS!!
