Rewind.... to Mother's Day

Alright I have a chance to write once again...Yeppie!!!

Mothers Day was a great day! Until......

I woke up to a Bed in Breakfast made by my husband ( 2 french toast, 2 pancakes, eggs with cheese, and strawberries) it was truly an awesome surprise to wake up to! Our kids were all dressed up and ready to go to church all I had to do was; Get up, eat, and get dressed. It was a wonderful feeling of FREEDOM!!!

My husband was so excitied about the present that he ahd gotten for me that he gave it to me the night before it was (drums rolling) a SEWING MACHINE !!! I had been asking for one for awhile I also revieved to how-to-sew books that are very well illustrated the photograhs are very well zoomed in...so well...That you can literally see the persons fingerprints! Its so COOL....

My next surprise was that my husband actually got up and sang in the mens choir which is a complete shocker since he is so reserved. The choir sang a very beautiful song that made me a bit teary ,The name of the song is "Let it Rain".

And then it began......

For some reason Angel and Yadiel just decided Mommy is enjoying herself a bit to much and we're bored  let's squash her joy....Mua Jajaja some of you might say No...no there just being kids OOOooooo But if only you were there at that very moment, you would have felt just the way I did, like those little stinkers were out to get YOU!

Well eventually it all came to an end....And it was time for fellowship, which I well tend to avoid on a regular basis so that I won't have to be constantly watching the kids Telling them( No don't touch that! Stay here next to me! Blah Blah Blah....) and not being able to enjoy myself and actually fellowship with others...I just tell myself lets avoid the whole scenerio and Go!

Well this time I said lets go over to fellowship and you know what things began to be look alot brighter.

I was laughing and cracking jokes, eating a very delicious brunch Southern Style, mixed with a little East and West side.

And then.....it went

Angel was wanting to be with the big kids and went right into the street not once but 3x's it was time to go.

We headed over to my mom's to surprise her with some gifts...that was completely blown off once recieved by saying , "Books...why would I want books about GOD the only one trying to be holy around here is YOU!" When she saw my disappointment then she reworded everything and said I would have liked to have recieved clothes better.

Then to make matters even worse I walked in mom's apartment to hear my 15 yr old sister say for no aparent reason , "WOW Karen you look like a *****" I thought I looked very nice but it seems like she was having a fit b/c I went to fellowship and not straight to their house.... FAMILY DRAMA.

Things did pick up a bit right after the whole ordeal and then it was finally time to go NIGHT....NIGHT thank God or I would have had to DECLARE MYSELF INSANE !!! .....

Good Night

P.S. I would have posted pictures but Angel thought it was best to hide the battery for the camera in a bag for a day! Darn bugger...

Nature Walk around the corner

Out of nowhere the kids and I decided that today would be the day to do our bark rubbings and compare the different types of bark according to the trees but that in itself is a little challenging since we live in North Dakota and we are pretty much limited in Trees  in the area where we live we have about 2 different species of trees we have  the Pine Tree and the Let me think....hummmm...Oh Yea the Pine Tree .....Alright I'm exaggerating .....we have 4 lol

Well I decided that the best place to go would be our biggest park here in good Ole' Minot Oak Park and worked out just great the kids and I enjoyed walking around for a change instead of runnning from the cold! But here are a few pics of our mini hike around Oak Park.

Joseph working on the wind not blowing his paper and at the same time working on creating his bark rubbings what a multitasker!!! :)

Checking out the leaf

Sweet Karla handing Mami some "flowers"

This made my day....Joseph picked up a broken piece of branch threw it on the floor and said, "Mami look I'm Moses do you remember he took his stick and threw it on the floor and it became a snake! :)

Never doubt the Lords Healing Hand

Well Goodmorning,

I didn't get a chance to write anything last night like I had planned my daughter out of no where started coughing and began having retractions and wheezing so just before I was just about to head out to the ER, I remembered that I had a neubulizer stored in the bathroom along with the medication she needed. THANK GOD for that after one treatment she calmed down and went straight to sleep. In my silence last night as I was putting things away  I just smiled to myself because all along as my daughter was going through this I kept singing and repeating the same verse over and over again in my mind The presence of the Lord is here....The presence of the Lord is here. I feel it in the atmosphere ,the presence of the Lord is here. and the presence of my Lord was there with us and sheilding my daughter for if it wasn't for his healing hand my daughter would have continued struggling for air to breath and would of had to travel 20 min. with 4 children in the middle of the night. Trust in him for he will never forsake you.

Thank You My God for never leaving my Children and I unprotected.

It is what it is....

I have been procrastaniting so bad when it came to actually writing my first blog, I wasn't sure what to write. Debating with myself about how to even start this ....For the past couple of months I have been wanting to write about my homeschooling journey I know that it might just help somebody along the way and will help guide them knowing that they will overcome any obstacles that will come across their path.

So I'm gonna try my best to give it to you the way it is! So hang on with me while I tell you about my daily stumbles here and there as a 23 yr old Military wife and homeschooling mother of 3 boys and 1 girl ages 6 and under as well as Momma to a 3 mth old Teacup pomeranian and a 7 wk old kitty.

I hope you get something out of reading my future blogs and with Gods help you will know that  EVERTHING IS GONNA BE ALRIGHT! Like my husband said, "one day our kids will look back and say, "If my mami can do it so can yours."

Till Tommorrow Have a Good and blessed night
