Rewind.... to Mother's Day

Alright I have a chance to write once again...Yeppie!!!

Mothers Day was a great day! Until......

I woke up to a Bed in Breakfast made by my husband ( 2 french toast, 2 pancakes, eggs with cheese, and strawberries) it was truly an awesome surprise to wake up to! Our kids were all dressed up and ready to go to church all I had to do was; Get up, eat, and get dressed. It was a wonderful feeling of FREEDOM!!!

My husband was so excitied about the present that he ahd gotten for me that he gave it to me the night before it was (drums rolling) a SEWING MACHINE !!! I had been asking for one for awhile I also revieved to how-to-sew books that are very well illustrated the photograhs are very well zoomed in...so well...That you can literally see the persons fingerprints! Its so COOL....

My next surprise was that my husband actually got up and sang in the mens choir which is a complete shocker since he is so reserved. The choir sang a very beautiful song that made me a bit teary ,The name of the song is "Let it Rain".

And then it began......

For some reason Angel and Yadiel just decided Mommy is enjoying herself a bit to much and we're bored  let's squash her joy....Mua Jajaja some of you might say No...no there just being kids OOOooooo But if only you were there at that very moment, you would have felt just the way I did, like those little stinkers were out to get YOU!

Well eventually it all came to an end....And it was time for fellowship, which I well tend to avoid on a regular basis so that I won't have to be constantly watching the kids Telling them( No don't touch that! Stay here next to me! Blah Blah Blah....) and not being able to enjoy myself and actually fellowship with others...I just tell myself lets avoid the whole scenerio and Go!

Well this time I said lets go over to fellowship and you know what things began to be look alot brighter.

I was laughing and cracking jokes, eating a very delicious brunch Southern Style, mixed with a little East and West side.

And then.....it went

Angel was wanting to be with the big kids and went right into the street not once but 3x's it was time to go.

We headed over to my mom's to surprise her with some gifts...that was completely blown off once recieved by saying , "Books...why would I want books about GOD the only one trying to be holy around here is YOU!" When she saw my disappointment then she reworded everything and said I would have liked to have recieved clothes better.

Then to make matters even worse I walked in mom's apartment to hear my 15 yr old sister say for no aparent reason , "WOW Karen you look like a *****" I thought I looked very nice but it seems like she was having a fit b/c I went to fellowship and not straight to their house.... FAMILY DRAMA.

Things did pick up a bit right after the whole ordeal and then it was finally time to go NIGHT....NIGHT thank God or I would have had to DECLARE MYSELF INSANE !!! .....

Good Night

P.S. I would have posted pictures but Angel thought it was best to hide the battery for the camera in a bag for a day! Darn bugger...

Sad *and* glad for your Mother's Day experiences. I pray your mother will want to know more about God and less about clothes.

Blessings,
Suzanne

Thank you for adding me as a friend. I ahven't been on the blog for several weeks so it was a nice surprise to see a new friend! That was wonderful about your husband singing in the men's choir. Hold onto the good memories of your Mother's Day and let the rest slip away...

I was so surprised to see a new friend on my list. I am terrible about checking unless you leave a comment on my blog. Did you leave one and I missed it? If so, sorry! :)

I enjoyed reading your entries. I assume that you have been busy! I hope you haven't given up on blogging, unless of course, God told you to. :) I was gone for awhile, but I finally updated tonight!

Oh your family picture is so sweet! Your children are precious! I'll check in with you soon! Blessings, Eva

Posted by Vanna
Hi Karen,

So, have you used the sewing machine yet? I miss using mine. I haven't mustered up the guts (or time) to make anything else since making my daughter a dress 2 years ago. I hope to hear of what you've been able to create! And best wishes with your new machine.

About Me

Hello to everyone! Thank You for dropping by and checking out my blog page. Well a little about myself, I was born and raised in Queens, NY so I'm a city girl some of my writing that you will be reading will be evidence of that! :) I am currently living in Minot, ND with my husband which is currently stationed here he serves in the USAF. We have 4 very loving, affectionate , sometimes hard headed lil' ones who I am dearly greatful for having the privleage to be entrusted by God with their care and upbringing. We also have 2 additional babies on our hands a 3mth old puppy and a 7wk old kitty. I am a part of our Gospel Choir here on the Minot AFB which is a very important part in my life in which I am continuously learning and growing to become more like the Mother,Teacher,Wife, Daughter,Sister and woman that my Father, Lord and Savior Jesus Christ wants me to be!
