Tuesday's Introspection
Somedays you have to celebrate the small accomplishments in day to day life. This week:
- I remembered to write my name on the cup BEFORE I peed in it. A huge accomplishment really. I get extra points for adding a smiley face.
- My husband's boss insisted on letting me know personally that my husband was not at work (he was watching the kids for my appointment - we aren't telling his work about the pregnancy though so the boss didn't know that) and insinuated I should be "concerned" about my husband's behavior (*hint *hint infidelity). I considered throwing my husband's things out on the lawn just for amusement value but I refrained. Extra points for that too - my husband didn't think I'd be able to let an opportunity like that go.
- I picked back up the cross stitch birth sampler I've been working on for 2 years. Of course, the moment I did the girls picked back up their long abandoned cross stitch projects, and with 3 uber beginners I should get extra points for not setting all the charts, thread, etc. on fire. I certainly considered it.

What a cute entry!
I guess it's good that the employer cares. Is your husband going to inform him?

Pretty Weird

that the boss would be so suspicious. Maybe s/he thrives on drama.
I like your template design by the way.

I'm a bit behind

Wow! You know, I had no idea that you were expecting a baby! I picked up on this over at Kathy's journal & I thought I had better track you down and see. I'm so very happy for you and I will pray that your baby turns out healthy. Please don't stop visiting me and updating me about this....I am VERY happy for you, even though I am obviously wishing I were still in your position.
I want you to know that I appreciated your prayers and words while I was going through this horrid miscarriage. You have been overwhelmingly kind and, for that, I am grateful. I will now return the favor and begin my prayers for your pregnancy.

Happy Wednesday!
Posted by aboundingjoy
Hey, ladies! I'm just checking in after a morning at speech therapy, library, seconhand store, and grocery store.......... aaaach. Wednesdays are our "out and about" day.
Amy - I don't know if we'll tell him at all. It depends on if I can find some way to camoflauge my shape in May during his defense and last seminar which I am expected to attend. In the scientific community, it is celebrated when a two highly educated individuals marry and possibly have one (heavens not more than that!) late in their life. They all believe that this situation promotes "better science". My husband is the oddball out, and I hate to be the reason additional harsh criticism is directed his way in the last part of his time here. They consider our family "out of control" and adding a fifth child will certainly be hugely frowned upon. I can't see any reason to tell them.
Melkhi - It is crazy, isn't it? This gentleman is older and has never been married. He believes that the best way to strike out at my husband for "misbehaving" (ie - missing an afternoon of work) is to let his wife have at him. LOL. He doesn't understand marriage very much, I don't think....
Alice - Thank you so very much. I would often pop over from Kathy's to see what you're cooking, etc. (your splitting the 2% to make it last longer was a great idea). I am so sorry for the loss of Quinn. I feel totally inadequate at expressing that. We've kept you and your family close in our prayers and I'll keep watching to see what happens next in your journey. Again, thanks for your prayers on this end. We're in limbo waiting to see if the last pregnancy was truly a "fluke" or is indicative of what's to come....
