It's Monday...usually one of my favorite days of the week...and this week is no different. It's especially good since the man in the brown truck arrived this afternoon!! He brought our new printer!!!! I'm in the process of installing it now...
We've been without a working printer for nearly a month now. I'm so sick of this Epson printer...we'll never have another one! We went back to our first love, HP. It's got all the bells and whistles...sure hope it lives up to the great reviews I read about it! I'm confident it will...
Natalie has a new love....reading. She just devours books lately. Not that I'm complaining..though Mary thinks it's not cool. She misses her playmate. But, she'll be joining her soon enough in the reader girl world. Mary's doing quite well in her reading!!
We're working on a rather large to do list...some for the house, some for the farm. Currently, our biggest concerns are fencing (to finish our obligation for our grant) and getting Cheeseburger separated out to be hauled to be processed. I know once those two biggies are off Honey's mind there will be others to tend to...but those are the most pressing at the moment.
Martha and Ken will be here soon. Ken is going to help Toby replace the kitchen window. We have some termite damage there....no clue what this will involve...just hope it's not too costly! I dreamed of a bay window going in there to replace the plain window that's there now. I don't really expect that to happen, but it would sure look nice!
I found a farm here in our town listed for sale on our local swap and shop today. No photos listed..but I did e-mail the folks for some. The house is not big enough from what is listed...there's only 34 acres...but it has the outbuildings we're looking for....a big but is the asking price. They're asking nearly what we would ask for our farm...and they have half the land we do! Our home actually has 1 more bedroom, same bath (1).....who knows..it was neat to find something with the outside stuff we want.
The printer is ready to be used....so I must close and give it a whirl!!!
