I've had the pleasure of reading Keeping Holiday by Starr Meade for a book review. The Crossway Book review program is sure a great thing!!

Let me start by saying this is not a book I would have chosen to read on my own. I normally gravitate to books on how to do something, not just entertainment. However, I am so thankful to have been given this opportunity, because I have LOVED reading this book!!!

It's an engaging, easy read...very captivating from the beginning. This is important to me...as I said I don't read alot for entertainment, so if it doesn't capture my interest quickly, I don't usually finish the book. This one did capture me and i finished it in two days time.

If you are a fan of CS Lewis, you will enjoy this book. My favorite line from Keeping Holiday is "You don't find the Founder; he finds you. He's not just the Founder; he's the Finder, too."

I heartily recommend this book....to read for yourself as well as to read to your children!!!!
