It's all about perspective.  "What is"?  you ask.  "LIFE".  It's all in how you look at it. 

Rose colored glasses, a realist, a dreamer, optimist, pessimist, etc. 

It's all in your perspective.

My case in point................

an ordinary day in our house, my 10 yr old adventurist son and his friends were working on a clubhouse.  He comes in with an adorable 4 inch tall sprig of a tree which he has found the most perfect sized glassed container for .  I am talking on the phone as I notice the "charlie brown" type tree.  I chuckle a bit as I hear him say its for the clubhouse.  Too cute!  Later as the tree sits on my cabinet waiting to be placed in the clubhouse, I really begin to take note of the perfect glass container he has found for this tree.  I mean this is a really small tree, the likelyhood of finding such a fancy GLASS flower pot for it is .......................... well, very unlikely.  Then it hits me.  HEY!! I recognize that container!  Its my salt shaker! My fancy glass salt shaker.  I ask my darling, inventive son and he says, "well, it was empty."  How can I refute that?  =0) 

Its all in how you look at it.  Salt shaker or flower pot.  Half empty or half full.

We think God gives us kids so we can train them up............................. there are many days that I think God gives us kids to help train us up.  They have a different perspective on life.  They know how to slow down in soak it all up.  My kids teach me so very very much. 

I'm thankful for that.
