Theresa's latest journal entry.
I think I wrote recently about the change I've made in the writing I require Theresa to do. Instead of writing 5 random sentences on one topic, she now has to write 5 descriptive sentences about one object. We're working on making her writing a little more focused. Yesterday she chose her "treasure box" which was actually a really pretty stationery box I received as a gift once upon a time. When the stationery was used up, I gave her the box. So here's what she wrote about it.
I have a treasure box with flowers on it. In it is a little pink Bible. There is also a tiny box and lots of paint colors. There are cards and bookmarks. There is even a paper doll.
And she spelled everything correctly, too! ![]()
Earlier this week, she finally finished reading Little House on the Prairie. So that means that one day soon, we are going to Ruckus Room, which is a local gymnasium-type place, I think. We've never been there, even though it's about 2 minutes from our house. There's a sign on the front of the building that says "Open Daily For Jump". So I think we'll be going tomorrow.
