Got my hair cut...
Finally! I've been needing a haircut for a while. So this afternoon, I put Grace and Julia down for their naps, got Theresa started on her journal entry, and drove two blocks to the hair salon. I didn't go to the closest one; I didn't like the cut they gave me last time. There's a salon next to the thrift shop I frequent. So I decided to try that one. I got my hair cut and styled by a very nice Colombian man named Carlo. He did a really good job. My hair is shoulder-length now. I'm thinking about buying a straightener. He used one on my hair, and I really like how it looks. He was quite a talker; I don't know many men who talk so much. He talked about the places he's lived, and the careers he's had. It turns out he's a pilot, so I think Jeremy will get a kick out of that. I'll have to send Jeremy over there next time he needs a haircut.
It was so nice to just get out of the house for an hour, and to carry on a conversation with another adult without having to interrupt every other minute to tell my children to behave. It's not often I get to relax and have someone pamper me.
On a totally different topic...Happy Birthday, Dad! I love you!

I have been thinking about getting a hair cut myself lately. It's not terribly long, about three or four inches longer than shoulder length. But my hair is so thick I can't do a thing with it! How many children do you have? I have two girls so far. They're 11 1/2 months apart, ages 2 and 3. God bless.

I know what you mean. The last time I got my hair cut was in December. But, before that, it had been a year and a half! It looked terrible.
