Prayers Please

Would you all please pray for a dear friend Tracy and her family. I mentioned her in a post not to long ago. She is pregnant and developed high blood pressure, and was told that baby had a heart issue. Well, they had an appt with the baby heart doctor today and didn't get good news. Baby has

Ebstein's Malformation of the Tricuspid Valve

Its looking very bad. Baby's heart is enlarged and if keeps going it will copromise the lungs and their function. If he makes it he will need major sergery  and be a very sick little boy, spending time in the NICU. Please lift this family up in prayer, they sure need it. I am sure I am missing something, but you all get the idea. Thanks!

School Time

We have started school with the girls. Every day, Sunday through Thursday we do school. Its usually an hour at the table. Both of the girls love doing school. We have a shelf full of wonderful just school stuff. Puzzles, color and shape matching games, flash cards, dry erase place mats. Playdough and our work books and writing tablets. We do a family Bible reading in the evening and we signed Clara up for Book It. They have a program for home schoolers. She has to do her school and read with Mama or Daddy for 30 mins a day, more then what we already do. She LOVES it, and gets her first pizza this pay day! :)

Bowling at the Feast

We love to bowl. And while Aaron and I arnt ANY good....well, Aaron is better then I am, Unless I have the gutters guard up, we love to go. One of the group activities was bowling. Bowling in Canada is a bit different then in the states. There are only 5 pins and the ball is much smaller, with no finger holes. They only weight in the 3 lb range, and you just roll them down underhanded. It sure was fun! Here are some pictures:

Outside my window... night time. Leaves falling off trees. They just died this year, it got cold so early, they didn't have a chance to change much. Kind of a bummer.

I am thinking... how much the basset needs a bath. YuCK! she rolled in something odifferious. Oh joy!

I am thankful for... A helpful husband as he tried to help while I take it easy.

I am remembering... things from when I messed up my knee before...so much info.

I am going... to take drink some elderberry juice to help ward off a cold.

I am reading...Bible: Rev and Jer., The Post Card, Beverly Lewis.

I am hoping... my knee heals so we dont have to go to plan B.

On my mind... Dinner. Breakfast tonight. Turkey sasuage and egg tacos and OJ

Noticing that... Everyone is so easly influanced by the media. People need to learn to think for them selves!

From the kitchen... beans soaking for chili tomorrow and rice crispy treats. Why dont I make those more often. EVERYONE loves them and they are so cheap. :)

Around the house... a mess. We are trying to do a better job at training the girls to respect things, such as their toys.

One of my favorite things...Other then baby kisses and hugs, watching a Jane Austen (thanks Mom and Mandi) and working on a quilt.

Kid cuteness... the girls playing doctor and fixing each other. And how sweet and willing they are, even when Mama asked them to eat raw garlic. Flora "Not bad" after eating hers. Andrew and his love for his sisters.

Home and Prayers.

We are home safe and sounds, and while I am still trying to get caught up , I will be posting pictures soon. We had a wonderful Feast with family and miss everyone greatly.

Now for the prayers. A good friend of our was sent to the hospital with VERY high blood pressure. She is 22 weeks pregnant. They found out while there that baby has a problem with his heart. The Pilimary (spelling) valve and artery are to small. While it could be something can right it self, its something that needs prayers! She is on bed rest for the rest of the pregnancy and would apperciate prayers. We had the joy have having her 2 daughters stay the night with us night before last and we sure had fun!

Pictures soon. Thanks for praying.

Lev 23:34  Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD.
Lev 23:35  On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
Lev 23:36  Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.
Lev 23:37  These are the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing upon his day:
Lev 23:38  Beside the sabbaths of the LORD, and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which ye give unto the LORD.
Lev 23:39  Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.
Lev 23:40  And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.
Lev 23:41  And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
Lev 23:42  Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:
Lev 23:43  That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

Wishing everyone a wonderful, safe Feast of Tabernacles!
