So, I've been thinking (uh-oh...) that I ought to start posting some more serious posts. Don't be alarmed, nothing too deep, but I was thinking that, while I like posting pics of my kids, it does not really help all my readers out there get to know me any better. Or to start up any meaningful dialog. How many times can you tell someone their kids are cute? Don't get my wrong, I appreciate it, but I already know they are cute , I want to get to know YOU, dear commenter. Plus, I have opinions too, that might be fun to share. I have opinions about lots of stuff. Like The Little Mermaid (the Disney movie AND the Hans Christian Anderson tale). And Books, oho, do I have opinions about books! And homeschooling. And food, and child rearing, and the Bible, and My Favorite Baby Products, and our justice system, and professional sports, and the internet, and Wal-Mart, and toys, and non-professional sports....That I just know you are dying to hear. 

So what do you think? Are you up for some meaningful dialog?  And, is there anything you'd just love to ask me, or see addressed here?

I know I was a little nervous when I first start putting my opinions out there, but if it is done in a respectful way, it really opens the lines of communication!

Hehe. I think the trick with Disney is to think of the movies as a separate story. They tend to drift from the plots that inspire them.
