About Me

Just a little way that I am hoping to give God the glory for all He is doing in our lives. I am the wife of Adam, and Mama to three girls, ages 7, 5, and 1 year old; and 2 sons, ages 3 and newborn. I am liable to ramble on about anything and everything here: how awesome a God we serve, books, homeschooling, scrappbooking, natural health, books, living a more sustainable lifestyle, how cute my kids are, books.... Oh, and you may find a picture or two of my precious ones. (The kids, not the books). How to keep your one year old entertained

Here's another simple trick for keeping your kids entertained: eat an apple, or better yet, have your kids eat apples. Then, take one with lots of meat left on it, and give it to your teething child*:


I bet this kept her busy for a full hour while I was fixing dinner, and a good time was had by all

*Please don't tell me how unsafe this seems to you. She only has two teeth, with the top ones just coming in - she scrapes off tiny bits of pulp at a time. I was also within a foot of her the. entire. time.  She is no where near any seeds. And I was RIGHT there :)

She's so cute! Is her hair getting a red tint or is it just the picture? By the way, I didn't want to call you while you're busy during the day, but I meant to call you tonight to tell you Happy Birthday! I've been thinking about it since I woke up this morning, so don't think I forgot about you (just forgot to make the call)! How could I since being the first child you caused me the most pain! (you're not really 29 are you cuz that would make me way too old) I'll call you tomorrow.....I love you.
PS...what are you doing making dinner on your birthday?

Oh, you had to go and publish my age for all the world to see, huh? Let see, if I'm 29, that would make YOU....Well, I won't :)

And these pictures are old :) I did make dinner on my birthday though - frozen pizza. We went to Chili's on Wednesday night :)

Okay, I'll bite that you're both 29. But I haven't figured out how I can be 29 and my son is almost 32. Oh well, math was never my best subject.
