About Me

Just a little way that I am hoping to give God the glory for all He is doing in our lives. I am the wife of Adam, and Mama to three girls, ages 7, 5, and 1 year old; and 2 sons, ages 3 and newborn. I am liable to ramble on about anything and everything here: how awesome a God we serve, books, homeschooling, scrappbooking, natural health, books, living a more sustainable lifestyle, how cute my kids are, books.... Oh, and you may find a picture or two of my precious ones. (The kids, not the books). "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." Proverbs 3:5-6

Tuesday was our anniversary, and it was a lovely day. Adam stayed home from work, and baked me a German Chocolate cake. Now, some women might think the occasion called for something like flowers or jewelry, but my husband knows what I like   We put eight candles on the cake, and the kids sang "Happy Anniversary to you!" Later, we all went out to dinner, where everyone (mostly) behaved. I had told DH that since he made the cake, I would make a special dinner of his choice, but he said "It seems mean to make you cook for OUR anniversary." Yup - I think I'll keep him!

I'm glad you're going to keep him, 'cause it's been over 30 days and I'm pretty sure you lost the receipt, so I can't take him back! Congratulations.
