Mar. 28, 2008 - Some Projects In The Making
A couple weeks back the boys put up my greenhouse. Up here in the pines, the sunshine is somewhat limited, so a greenhouse seems to be the perfect solution.
I haven't planted too much so far, a few pepper plants, tomotoes, sugar snaps, cukes and some bush beans. If anyone out there has experience with greenhouses, any imput would be much appreciated! Mine is not very big (about 8x8) and it has no shelving. I am hoping the bush beans and snap peas will be alright inside... let me know!
I was thinking of setting up some "window box" type planters and try to create some make-shift "rows", how's that sound??
I can't wait until spring is in full swing! I will miss walking through the garden rows, but thankful for my little "secret garden" on the upper deck!!
Another project I finally finished (with the help of my boys!), was getting the girls American Girl doll shelf up... I had been promising forever and actually had the shelf sitting a few days awaiting paint... I think the girls were thrilled...
Giving credit where credit is due... a few weeks back hubby and Karl recovered some of the kitchen chairs... Thank you!!
