I am always scouring thrift stores for anything I think would be a great deal for my family. My husband isn't quite as enthusiastic about it, but there is a thift store of sorts he does like: Play It Again Sports. I suppose it isn't so much a "thrift store" as it is a discount store. They sell used and new sports equipment, some great deals, some ... not so much. A few weeks back we found ourselves in one such store. Now, if you are like me and you're children have played sports, your eyes are always peeled. This day there was a "bargin tub" out front with hockey things inside just begging to be pawed through. Kolton has played goalie in the past and if you are a hockey Mom you know too well the cost of goalie gear! I came across a neck guard for a very cheap price (half off the sticker!), keeping in mind this is USED equipment... I bought it and figured on throwing it in our "stash". It wasn't until several days later my children pointed out the tag... I bought what I THOUGH was a HOCKEY NECK GUARD... apparently what I GOT was something different. Too funny! Just had to share.
Incase you can't see: The tag is marked: HICKEY neck guard
OH MY!!!!! I would die of laughter to have brought that home and shared my 'score' on a great deal...only to find out it's NOT the thing I thought it was!!!!!!!!!!! Hilarious!
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

If the doctrine of Christian union is true, then division and sectarianism are a great and prodigious evil, and therefore ought to be abolished. Who then will lay the axe to the root of this corrupt tree to help cut it down?
