The girls and I just went to the library ~ which by the way ~ I am glad to report there were no WANTED Posters with my name on them AND they gave us all cards! Well, not ALL... seems Keri (now being 18) is no longer "my child" and has to have her own seperate library account. Being a homeschooler who does not yet drive, we had only a college and medical cards for ID, not good enough. Seems odd, she is still at home, still in school but now suddenly a whole seperate entity ~ go figure.
On to the bargin... I stopped off at a store called "Big Lots". I don't fequent this store but the girls and I have concluded, it is very much like a Ross/Garage Sale. I did however find some treasures. Cascadian Farms Strawberry Jam was rock bottom at $2.00 for a HUGE jar (1lb 14 oz), compare to $4.80 at the health food store for 6 oz jar! Muir Glen tomatoe soups (the big can) were $1.29, these would sell for $2.99. The best one was my favorite tea mixes, that I have only found in Redding and for $9.99 a can.... $2.50 each! ALL these are ORGANIC and ALL a great buy!
I'm not sure if you remember me...I'm Suzy's neighbor, Patti. I just read your blog and it's wonderful! If you don't mind, I will drop in from time to time and learn from you, too! Be blessed...Patti
Of Course Patti!
I hear you are getting into the blogging world yourself! Let me know your link!

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3: 13,14

If the doctrine of Christian union is true, then division and sectarianism are a great and prodigious evil, and therefore ought to be abolished. Who then will lay the axe to the root of this corrupt tree to help cut it down?
