Trails Along The Journey

Rabbit, teeth, BDay and computer problems, OH My.....

Well, I have not been on in over a week or more, sorry!!!  First of all a Late wish to my "little bug"...HAPPY 8TH BIRTHDAY KATIE....MAY 24TH .....  wE ARE STILL PLANNING A bIRTHDAY PARTY FOR NEXT WEEKEND - JUNE 6 OR 7.

May 25th we awoke to find Katies Lionhead rabbit had escaped.  Ugh!!! We spent most of the day searching our forested 5 acres, we ended the day praying that God would take care of her and help us find her if it was meant to be.  Then Thursday afternoon, can you believe it, she was seen. We have had her cornered seveeral times but have not recaptured her , yet.  but I cant even believe she is still alive- Praise the lord!!.  Hopefully , today we will be able to get her.

Sarah went in for her Dental surgery, thursday.  We were at childrens hospital most of the afternoon.  She was not able to eat after 4 am, so I woke her at 3:30 for breakfast.  She did so well, they pulled one tooth and put caps on 7 , then they put crowns on her front incisors, I cant believe all the stuff they did.  I am thankful to have it behind us, and sad that it even had to be done.  They say it could have been fromthe acid reflux as a baby, but could just be her teeth. She was out of it Thurs, but by friday was bouncing off the walls.

Last but not Least, our computer is slowly nearing the end of its life, I think, we have spent the last week trying to keep it going but it is getting slower and slower.  So I amjust adding this for now and hopefully I will be able to get on again.  We are trying toget our pics and important thigs off before it completely locks up.  I will try to post agian if I still can, until we get a new one.  Well the sunis out so I am going totry to enjoy it. have a good day.

Tammy

Poor thing! I hope her tooth problems are over. That must have been kind of scary for her. Good luck with the computer too. We had to break down and get a new one a year and a half ago. The emachines aren't too bad if cash is tight.

Tammy, I hope your able to get the rabbit back. I hate it when animals are lost or keep getting out of their pens...so irritating. We had five calves that were continuously getting out of their pen last fall. I would be teaching school and one of the children would yell, "the calves are out!" and mommy would be chasing calves all over the front lawn in her pajamas. :-)
So Sarah had to have crowns and it could have been because of acid reflux when she was an infant? My youngest daughter has "brown" molars that the dentist says are "soft" and will probably have to be capped by the time she is an adult. They came in "brown" and the dentist says it may have been due to a high fever as an infant but I'm wondering now due to your story if it may have been due to her having severe GRD as an infant. We had to keep her in a bouncy chair for the first three months because of constant projectile vomiting. Hmmm...I think I'll ask the dentist about this. I hope Sarah is feeling good and completely recovered.
I missed you and hope the computer problems won't keep you away too long! BTW, your whole blog including pictures in the right margin are all showing up now, similar to how mine is formatted. Go figure.
Blessings, Julie
