Aiming High

Description

In all I am, do, and will write, my aim is to hit God's mark. I will have moments of being misguided as I am not perfect, but know that I serve a God that loves me through it all.

BCM!

Too, Too, TOO BEAUTIFUL...

So many times I hear the groanings of a mother's heart straining to find time to drink of God's Word or to pray or to worship.   Over and over and over I must remind myself that mothering IS worship when done with the motivation of pleasing my Heavenly Father.

Someday I'm going to paste this YouTube video on my sidebar...whenever I learn how to do that...and listen to it constantly.  But, in the meantime travel on over to On Our Journey Westward.

Have a good soak.  Try not to cry.  I dare you.

Happy Mother's Day!
Many Blessings,
Holly

Hey!
So glad you stopped by!
Those last 10 weeks are HARD! You have less than 10 so you have made it most of the way.
Here is praying you are able to sleep well, be comfortable, have happy feet and plenty of energy!

how to add entry categories

Hey, it's stitchesbyteresa from www.homesteadblogger.com. I couldnt figure out how to email the info you requested, so I'll post the tutorial here. Assuming this blog is set up the same way as homesteadblogger, this is how to add entry categories:

Go to "My Account"
under "My Blogs", click your blog's name (mine is stitchesbyteresa for example)
Click "Entry Categories"...here you can add all your entry categories...
Click "Add Category"
Type Name of category in the "Name" field
Click "Add Category"

To assign an entry category to an entry blog, after you type in your new blog entry, scroll down and you will see a drop down box beside "Entry Category".
Click on the drop down box to choose your category, then click "Add New Entry" to post as usual.

You can also go back to already posted blogs and assign them to a category
How??
Click "Back to my account" if you are elsewhere on your blog...
Under "My Blogs", click your blog's name (again, mine is stitchesbyteresa for example)
For the entry you want to assign a new category, click edit on the far right of the same row...
Scroll down to the drop down box for "Entry Category" and choose appropriate category.
Click "Save Changes"

I hope this helps! Thanks for visiting my blog!!! Now I'm going to check yours out.

more about category entries...

Hey there again!
I just read your new comments on my blog...if I am understanding your question...you want to know why you dont have the option on your edit page for categories? I think it'll only show up if you have entered categories as I had shown how to do in tutorial???...and about the categories showing on the side of your blog...I wasnt sure what html code would do this, so when I picked my blog appearance, I chose one that already had that built into the blog. Does that help???

more about your questions

Hi, It's Teresa yet again! I was just posting a blog and before I hit the button to post it, I think I figured out the answer to one of your questions...

There is an option "Advanced Options" toward the bottom of the screen when you are typing up a new blog...if the little arrow is pointed toward the word "Advanced Options" then you won't see the drop down box where you add the category...SO click the arrow and it will then point down and open up the extra options....HOPE THAT HELPS!

Also, you had asked several questions about fibromyalgia. I am so sorry to hear about your friend. I am told it is an autoimmune disease, much like rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, things like that. I also test borderline positive for lupus every time, but doctors say it might not mean I have it...hmmm...ANYWAY, I've suffered from severe allergy/asthma trouble my whole life and I've had all those tests you've mentioned. It didnt seem to have anything to do w/this for me at least. I'm told it is related to the nerves in the body...like the nerves are receiving pain messages where there is no injury to explain the pain message...much like diabetics and shingles patients pain...SO now the same meds are used to treat FM as shingles patients and diabetic foot pain...IE Lyrica and also Cymbalta. Ive had much success w/both, but by no means am I cured...just livable most days. Much better than w/o these two meds, though, so Praise the Lord I finally found something to help...also Ultram for pain...as well as flexeril muscle relaxers ONLY during bad flare ups, I don't take them every day.
I hope that answers your questions...if not, fee free to ask away!
