Dec. 12, 2008 - Our Visit to Seattle for Thanksgiving (Part 2)

After our visit to the Sanders, we got to do more reuniting with friends.  Reid took the day to work at the office but the kids and I went to our sweet friends, the Islers.   Linda was so gracious to have an "open house" for me and the kids so that everyone could come when they were able.  It was wonderful to see everyone!

Here's all the girl kiddos from that day.  I think the boys were hiding out upstairs.  (Left to right) Michaela, Kailey, Claire, Audrey, Camille, Becca, Eli.

Later that evening, Reid arrived and we stayed for dinner with Linda and Walt.  It was so neat to reconnect with everyone and find out what all the Seattle-ites have been up to.

After dinner we headed to Grammy Pat's where we stayed for the next couple of nights.  We were all so excited to see Grammy but we were so exhausted from all the excitement of the past 2 days that I think we barely said hello and were off to bed.

The next day, Reid had a carpet cleaning job so the kids and I got to spend some much needed down-time catching up with Grammy and relaxing at her place.  We took a trip to a jam-packed Trader Joe's where everyone and their dog was there getting all their holiday groceries.  I had to stock up on a few key items since there is no such thing as Trader Joe's in Boise .  Trader Joe's, I miss you!

Then we traveled to Ballard to visit my cousin and her new baby.  I had not met the almost 4 month old Brooklyn yet so it was such a joy to get to see her and the new mommy.

We got caught in some nasty Seattle traffic on the way back to Grammy's and we were staaaarving.  We decided to get out of the traffic and meet Daddy at Zeek's for dinner.  We love Zeek's!  Here is Camille goofing around with some pizza dough.
