Maple seed expiriment

Posted in Learning Fun

I have gotten  2 pots and layered them exactly the same - gravel for drainage, composted leaves to catch the dirt 1 layer of dirt for something different. And another layer of leaves to hold in some moisture.  And then I  filled it to the top with dirt. The seeds I planted are not alike although they are alike in other ways. I  peeled the helicopter part off of 2 and left it on two more. I want to see if the  difference will matter. I am just leaving them in the sun -  or rain! And watering them sometimes.

I am going to do more experiments with maple seeds sometime but I don't know when.
