Waterfall Hike

Day before yesterday we went on a hike. The hike was lots of fun.   We hiked down a trail, or should I say leaped down a hill!  There were wild onions that we pulled up!  They were a little milder and sweeter than green onions and were in bloom. The hillside was covered with them! Then we went down a ways and came to a ledge that we hiked along and then we went down a slopping path. We crossed the stream and hiked on the other side. We went a ways and then we hiked up down and were in the botom of the canyon, right at the base of the falls. It looked 60 feet tall but is really 90 feet tall. It is a seasonal waterfall and doesn't run all year. It is on private property.

Afterwards we went back and played at their log cabin in the forest. They make their electricity with solar panels and a generator.

I thought we were going to another friend's house for supper but we didn't.  We were invited to stay and eat supper with them. Supper was good, we had popcorn with olive oil and yeast flakes and salt Of coarse!  There was a good fruit salad and apples and almond butter.  It was a very tasty supper.

The oldest girl and I had fun swinging and running around. I saw their tree forts and play houses and
played in their  room. The other girl and Forest had fun looking for frogs and watching their creatures.
We all had a great time.
