Drive to Death Valley: The Story of Our Trip #2
I got a comment from Hildegard and she was wondering if the ice chest crunched Forest Zoo and I. I thought that was a good question. The answer is that no, the ice chest didn't crunch Forest and I. The front passenger shoved it against the seat. It is fairly large so it was stuck fairly tightly. If we wanted to get the ice chest out we shoved the seat forward.
CHAPTER 2 Of: Drive to Death Valley
After passing the town that Sir Henry's teacher lived in we drove for a long time. We stopped only for Rest area's and Gas. After a really long day of driving we arrived in Death Valley. It was 12:00 but still quite light outside because it was a very bright full moon that night. We drove into Stovepipe Wells Campground at 12:30 and looked for a camping site for tents but there were none. We found a spare RV spot and put our tent there for the night with plans to move in to a empty tent one that was vacated in the morning. Since it was after 12:00 the silly machine that we payed assumed that it was the next afternoon and gave us a ticket for 2 nights for the price of 1! We finally crawled into our sleeping bags at 1:00 AM and fell asleep....
End of Chapter 2. (I know, it was more of a teaser than a chapter wasn't it?)

P.S. Go see what Hildegard, Forest Zoo, and I did! |
