Surprise..... KITTENS!!!
My brother's kitty, CeCe had kittens! Yesterday, I was finishing up my schoolwork and CeCe (who happened to be inside) was lounging on my foot (which happened to be up on the couch with the rest of me), when she let out a cry. I put her in the garage thinking that she might want to get something out there but she came back to the door and asked to come in. I let her in and she jumped up right next to me, started purring, and let out another cry. I started to wonder what was happening. I called Mom and she came over, looked at CeCe, and then said "Quick, CeCe is going to have kittens. Get big plastic bag, one of the old blankets from the garage, and the box with all the old towels. CeCe is going to have kittens. Right here on the couch."
"On the couch?" I gasped. "Uh, Ok!" I got the requested items and then before long Cece started to have kittens. Over the next few hours she gave birth to five kittens in all, right on the couch! They are so cute! Here are some pictures.
This picture is of the first kitten shortly after it was born. I am holding it.
This is CeCe after we thought she had had all her kittens. There are four kittens in this picture.
This picture was taken this morning and it is of the fifth kitten. I have been calling her Abigail. She is the only girl, and also the only one that has white as the main color.
This also shows how tiny the kittens are.
I am glad CeCe had kittens!
