Laura Ingalls Wilder Homestead
This summer we went on a vacation. On our vacation we went to De Smet, South Dakota.
While we were their we saw the Laura Ingalls Wilder things. My favorite was the Laura Ingalls Wilder Homestead. We got to go see a dugout house, a shanty, and a barn with a Straw Roof! We also got to see kittens, ride a horse and buggy to a schoolhouse, where we attended a old fashioned school session, in an old fashioned school from that time period, and lots of original stuff in it. When we got back from the schoolhouse we went in to a building that we made rope and cornhusk dolls in.
After that we rode on a miniature horse and horse buggy. I had fun seeing where Laura lived, and what her life was like.
 This picture is of Forest and I returning from the buggy ride.
I am riding the horse, Forest is in the buggy with the man.
Macaroni
I have a little pony,
His name is Macaroni,
He trots and trots,
And then he stops!
My funny little pony!
