A Reminder from God
| I was just provoked at my brother, because he wrote on my page of vision therapy. I felt like he needed some consequence to help him learn not to write on other people's property. Then, I absentmindedly pulled the cord on the lamp that mama was using, and she said quietly "I was still using that lamp, Araya." I quickly said "Oops," and turned it on again. At that moment God quietly reminded me that "You're just as bad as your brother, Araya." My response in my head was "What Lord?" He quietly responded "You are a sinner, too, maybe William wrote on your page as absentmindedly as you pulled that lamp cord." Ouch. That thought was not pleasant. And then I remembered Pastor's sermon yesterday, and how he said "Branches don't prune other branches." "OOPS! Forgive me, Father, I think I just tried to prune my brother." "Tell him you have forgiven him for writing on your page." I did this, and Immediately felt impressed to go write this account down. So I did. Heavenly Father, I need you more and more. Please give me your Holy Spirit. Cleanse me from my sins, like judging my brother. Help me not to do that anymore. Amen. |
