Jan. 5, 2010 - you're everything i need and more, it's written all over your face; baby i can feel your halo... pray it won't fade away
I went to a wedding last weekend! And not just any wedding... I went to Katherine's wedding! (my friend :) She got married to Trey's friend, Stephen. It was such a beautiful wedding! Kat made her wedding dress! Dude, it looked SO professional :) And Hannah, my dear friend and Kat's sister, was the Maid of Honor! She looked so beautiful!
So yeah, it was amazing... I can't believe that they're married now! :)

Dec. 31, 2009 - it's Christmas and we are in love with the way that the soft snowflakes kiss us from far above the blustery breeze
How was ya'll's Christmas? heehee, I got a fever on Christmas Eve... and was supposed to sing a solo at the church service. BUT, much to the Lord's mercy, I was able to sing, and people said that it sounded good. Not bad for having a frog in the throat ;)
On Christmas day, I didn't feel much better, but I as insanely happy as it was still a great day and I got tons of beautiful gifts from my family. I got my beautiful acoustic guitar (it's an Ovation) and I named it "Bella" :) I got the cutest calendar, a lot of junk food, the "Spirit" soundtrack (YAY!!!), three pairs of toe socks, a journal that my dad's cousin made, more junk food, a few knick knacks, and another journal from Randy. And I got a dvd and cd from Beka. :)
After we opened all of our stuff, we went over to some friend's house for Christmas dinner. We had a blast and I can't remember laughing so long and so hard for such a long time!

Oh my goodness! I totally forgot to say how mine and Trey's Christmas party went! It was so much fun... a lot of people from church and Pride & Prejudice came. I flat-ironed my hair for the occasion. :)

Dec. 7, 2009 - my deliverer is comin', my deliverer is standing by
Well folks. It is indeed the Christmas season. And ya'll know the reason for the season, don't ya'll?
This last service, mum and I went to a WIC Christmas party (we don't usually) but a friend of mine who was in the play was going, and she isn't a believer. While we were there, she and I were talking about the Christmas season, but since we had other activities to do, I was not able to say all the things about Christ that I wanted to. She has acknowledged that I take Jesus' birth 'very seriously' but I don't think that she fully understands why. She is coming to our house for Christmas Eve dinner, the Christmas Eve Service, and I'm preparing this huge sermon to giver her (not a real one obviously) but I'd appreciate prayers for her and my family as we try to witness to her.
WELL, tomorrow is mine and Trey's teenie-bopper par-tay ;) We are having thirty-five teens coming over! It is going to be SO FUN... I'll post pics of that and after Christmas once it's all over :)

Nov. 28, 2009 - the silence isn't so bad 'till i look at my hands and feel sad cuz the spaces between my fingers are right where your's fit perfectly
This last Thanksgiving was really different and hard. I tried to be thankful, and I believe with God's help, I was. But since Thanksgiving has passed, I still remember it and try to be thankful. It was really hard to though. I found out that my grandmother is dying of Picks Disease that can't be slowed down. I had to say goodbye to all my new friends from P&P last week. We just found out that all of our Christmas ornaments that we have been gathering and collecting through the years got lost in the move to our new house.
Through these times that I've been sad, it makes it easier for me to point out the things I am thankful for most:
I am thankful for all of my friends, and the new ones I've made since P&P. I know that they will be with me to the very end and that they are willing to do anything for me. All of my dear friends are a second family to me.
I am thankful that Grammy is still alive and that I have time to pray for her salvation, and maybe see her before she passes.
I am thankful that we are still able to celebrate Christmas without all of our ornaments. They aren't people, they are just earthly things and they would have gone sooner or later. Our focus of this holiday season should be on Christ, and we don't need decorations to celebrate our Saviour's birth.

Nov. 8, 2009 - all of my memories keep you here, inside of my heart
Please accept my apologies for not answering any comments... I have been quite busy, but I feel responsible enough to update my blog to let ya'll know how the Pride and Prejudice musical was going... which it was going GREAT... I enjoyed every moment of it. :) BUT... Now it is all over and I am so sad.
I can't remember if it was the first week... hmm I think it was the first week of our performances that David, (the guy who played Mr. Collins, who is incredibly sweet) got all of the girls of the cast chocolate!!! A huge bag of delicious truffles... yummy ;) It was hilarious, cuz after the end of the performance that he gave them, some of the other guys got pretty upset and informed David that "he has competition now" or that "there's a storm coming". LOL All of us girls were fine with it... "just keep bringing the chocolate." heehee, it was funny. And this week, Will and Tim (guys who were a part of the ensemble) gave all of us bouquets of flowers! And then, Amanda (the gal who plays Caroline Bingley, who is a total sweetheart) gave us all starbursts (lol, and that had nothing to do with the guys giving us stuff... sorry, I got a little off-track). And then all of us gals got a chocolate truffle from John and Stephen! (needless to say, we were well fed during these plays :)

Ah, and I just happened to be placed in the most fun dressing room ever... all of the Wickham's girls (of which I am one) except Rachel was in our dressing room. We also had Katie (Kitty), Bekah (Lizzy), and Maggie (Jane) in the room. We also had Mrs. Holaday (Mrs. Phillips) and Miss Anne (Lady Catherine de Bourgh).
Oookay... let me explain. :) Excluding Miss Anne for a moment, here are all of us Wickham/Brighton girls, including Rachel. These were are Brighton bathing outfits when we sing "If We Could Only Go to Brighton". heehee, and then we posed with Lady Catherine.

Pride and Prejudice rehearsals have gotten so crazy... I still enjoy it and I don't regret that I auditioned. The whole cast is like a huge family (like fifty people, okay?). They are all so crazy and I love hangin' with them. :)

Oct. 18, 2009 - why are you striving these days? why are you trying to earn grace? why are you cryin'? let me lift up your face; just don't turn away
Well, to begin with, I want to apologise for not updating sooner. Second.... hockey!!! I love the sport--I mean, to watch it. ;) We went to see an Air Force game and unfortunately they lost. And unfortunately, they have lost every game this season so far even though it is the beginning of the season. The best player is Jeff Hajner (who scored all the points at the game we saw).

Okay, I think it is about time for an update. Don't ya'll agree? (cheezy grin :) Well, this last weekend... geez, I don't think I've ever stood a whole day before, but I did last Saturday. I left early Saturday morning for P&P rehearsal, went regency dancing from there, and then went to our church's annual barn dance that evening! I didn't step a foot into the house until I got home... it was all pretty busy, but it was SO MUCH FUN.... I only got pictures from the barn dance, so here they are.

Aug. 19, 2009 - will you feel alone when there is no one to hold your hand?
On my sixteenth birthday, my mom was making a cake in the kitchen, I was in there with her, inhaling the delicious smell of chocolate. The doorbell rang and mom said, "Oh, Jacob must want to play with the boys. Tell him not today... we are too busy." I skipped to the door and through it open and there stood my dear friend, Beka! I stood, gaping at her and she kinda smiled and asked, "Are you going to let me in?" I screamed and threw my arms around her.
She stayed with me for a week... we did crazy things, went to the mall, went to Garden of the God, and she stayed for my bigger party that I shared with my now seventeen year old friend, you guys know as hoisonchicken.

Aug. 13, 2009 - when you're dreaming with a broken heart, waking up is the hardest part... wondering, "was he really here? is he standing in my room?" but he's not, cuz he's gone, gone, gone, gone, gone...
I'll post about moi sweet sixteen later. I was tagged by my new friend, nachoaveragegirl, and decided to do that real quick. (i have company over, which was, btw, one of my presents ;)

Aug. 6, 2009 - how do we say our good-bye's; do we laugh or cry?
Our vacation was great, but I miss everybody terribly :( We first went to MS to pick up Percy and spend time with my great-aunt and mom's cousins. We hung out at the pool and Bass Pro Shops.

Then we went to AL where we met up with both sides of mom and dad's family. Papa and Whimmey got a new dog and her name is Sally, she is so cute :)

With mom's side of the family, we went bowling, and had tea parties (the boys were obviously not there :P) We also met up w/ some of mom's old school friends.
It was really sad leaving them all. I really think that this was one of the best visits that we ever had with all our family. :(

Then we went to GA where we visited the Wichterselfs!!! (aka, Mari and Chriss's family :) First day there, I got an incredible sunburn at Lake A-la-Tuna (lol).

I'm not hard to miss, I'm the pasty-white one (this was before the sunburn :P) Oh! Guess who I met? When I went to their church, I met (for the second time in my life :) Courtney! Ah, and uh, she also quit her blog :( I'd posts pictures of the teen thang that was held after church, but that was on the other camera :P SEND THE PICTURES MARI!!! I also met a few of their other friends, Anna, Nathan, and Nathan (XD)

We had fun partying at the Wichterselfs. Matt pulled out the kareoke and his guitar, and we partied almost every night there ;) Mari taught me how to text (SO MUCH FUN....) and I bugged all of her poor friends :P Ah, and Mr. Wichterself dressed up as Rod Stewart :D

Leaving our little "family" was heart-wrenching for me. We've gotten so close to them through the years, it gets harder every time we have to go. The last night there, we stayed up until 4:30 a.m. watching Matt, Percy, Chriss, and Julia play Texas Hold 'em. Then we went to bed and stayed up till 5:00. I miss them all so much!

Jul. 17, 2009 - you're on my heart just like a tatoo... just like a tatoo, i'll always have you
Do any of ya'll recall me getting a henna tatoo kit for Christmas? Well, I was saving it for summer vacation, and I finally used it! (btw, henna tatoos stay on for just a few weeks before disapearing) It took awhile at first, I was so afraid I'd mess up. BUT, it was so much fun after giving myself two henna tatoos, that I gave my dad one and then I gave my mom one too!

LOL this is dad posing. This one was especially hard because with the other tatoos, I had a stencil to work with. This was just by looking at a paper. *whew*
Okay, we are leaving on vacation to go down South today. I'll probably be busy for three weeks, but I'll blog when I can. Anyhoo, thanks for reading this guys, ya'll have been a wonderful audience (cheezy grin :)

Today is Johnny-Bravo's twelfth birthday. They all went to see "Up" in 3D; I couldn't go cuz 3D stuff gives me headaches and makes me feel ill.
I'm so happy for John!

*sigh* That is my new fave Jonas song. It's so purdy...
Anyhoo, thought I might share something interesting. I was just thinking to myself one day, (and I totally forgot to post about it, forgive me) that since Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, he must have look a lot (I mean A LOT) like his mom. You know, since the he was conceived by the spirit and "the spirit has not a body like we do", so he must've looked like his mum. Interesting, huh?
It's mom and dad's 20th anniversary! They left to spend the night at this hotel then go eat on a fancy train that goes through a canyon of some sort. And I totally forgot what it is called.
I am past my writer's block! And, as a matter of fact, I'm done with my fifth chapter! YAHOO!!! Now, I had better catch up on my studying for Pride & Prejudice...
