The Desert in Bloom

Spring is here (we hit 100 degrees last Saturday!!). The desert is in bloom! The cacti on the west side of our house are all covered with flowers, and our ocotillo is covered with green leaves (but no orange flowers). This is the first year we have been here that the ocotillo has not bloomed. Maybe it still will!
