P.S. What do you know--today is Labor Day, so I can't take my permit test! Guess that proves I should pay more attention to national holidays ;-).

No,honking the horn would have scared them. I told my mom not to do that because of that reason. They needed to cross the road so we waited for maybe 10 minutes. They started to scatter once the aussie shepards started herding them :)

Let's see, I think I've been playing viola for about two years now...I started on piano when I was eight, though, and there were quite a few instruments in between! :-) I'll check out the website you mentioned--sounds very helpful!
