My Huge Teddy Bear
Posted in Show and Tell Friday

Here is my S&T:

That is my gigantic teddy bear I got for my fourth birthday, with a ruler leaned up against him to show how big he really is! This bear sits up on the top of the bookcase in my room, gathering dust.
He always has been a little bit too big to sleep with, anyway!
Recently, though, my sister Amy put her alligator up there with him, so he will not be so lonely, LOL! I used to pretend that this bear was my husband sometimes when I played house (well, hey, I don't have any brothers!), and I remember at least once having one of my dolls get married to him.
I hope you enjoyed my show and tell this week. If you would like to join in the fun, go over to CanadaGirl's blog.

Hello,Alison,
That huge teddy bear is cute!I have a pink rabbit about half the size of him,but she's in the attic right now, collecting gobs of dust!
Thanks for the comment! The top picture is me and the bottom one is Rose.I had been planning on putting more than two photos up,But the image uploader wouldn't take anything!:-(Any way,I might try again after this and see what happens.Sometimes if you give the computer a break for awhile it works.
Have a blessed week!
A friend,
Kate

WOW! That is humongous!! Are you sure that he can even fit on your dresser?! He's cute, though.
Hopefully I can post a new post soon. I didn't expect to get that many comments!
I found the code, but it's not working on my blog...do you know why?
I had just logged off - I'm sorry. I did get your pm, though. I hope I can catch you another time. We seem to be on at the same time anyway!
Talk to you later,
Kylie

I think your gigantic teddy bear is cute! What's his name? I'll bet he isn't lonely with the alligator as a friend.

Wow, that is one big teddy! I'm surprised it can stay on your bookshelf without falling on your head, tackling you to the floor, and giving you a big bear hug. :) Very cute! It looks like you have taken good care of it for all these years.
You had asked me about dewroming a horse a couple of weeks ago, and I'm sorry it has taken me this long to finally getting back to you, but here is a little explaination...
Deworming all horses is essential for their health. All horses get parasites inside (gross worms) that steal nutrients from the horse or could even cause tissue damage or if left untreated, kill the horse. All horses need to be dewormed regularily - best if once a month or once every-other month. Dewormer comes as something you can put in their feed or as a paste. I use the paste (looks like toothpaste) and I squirt it in the side of their mouth. First we weigh the horse by wrapping a special weight tape around them (just behind their front legs around their body) to see about how much they weigh - that will tell me how much to give each horse. Then the girls each halter their horses & hold them close with the lead line, while I do the squirting. It just takes a minute, but like they say, "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure". Hope this answers your question.
Have a Blessed Day!

Hi! I am Charlotte and my Mom helped me to make my blog site. She helped me add you and your sister to my friend list. I am looking forward to reading more on your blog site. I see you are learning to play the violin. I have one, but my mom is still looking for a teacher for me. I remember you. We were at your church a long time ago. We went to the desert one day. I better go for now. Bye. Charlotte
