Template Evolution
It's finally winter (at least December)! That doesn't mean that I was really looking forward to winter this year, but that does mean that it's time for me to change templates again.  I thought I'd like to show you how my template has evolved over the past year. Roughly, here are the layouts that I've used:

My first template was the one I chose when I signed up with HSB, and I had this one for several months. Have I had any of my current readers long enough to remember when my blog looked like this?

Well, after a few months, I decided to change my template. If I remember correctly, I guess I thought the denim template was just too dark. I figured that a lighter colored template would be more inviting and would attract more visitors... So, this was the second template, and one that most of you probably remember well enough:

Oh, and of course, you remember this template quite well!

And now, it's December, so it's time for the new template! Well, you've already seen it since you're here at my blog, but I think I'll give you a sneak peak "behind the scenes," and show you what it was going to be. I had designed this template to use for this winter, but then I also made a second one, and I liked it better, so the first one isn't being used. But who knows -- maybe it will show up on my blog next winter!

And, of course, here's what it looks like now:

These screenshots were all taken from my test blog, but sorry, that blog address has only been given to a privileged couple of friends, and, at least for now, it's somewhat of a secret. I'm not sure I want all of you to see my future templates before they're officially released.

Alizona, you have done a great job with both your computer art and your hand-drawn art :o) Isn't it nice to find a new talent? Keep it up!
Love,

Leave all that snow on the mountains, not in the desert.

Background looks good, and I agree with your one time to approve of evolution.

Your winter template is quite nice! I changed my template, too....out of necessity :-D. Stop by and see it some time--it still needs work, but it's getting there slowly!

I really like your blog and the backgrounds you made!
I am afraid i have not done much on my own blog though. I saw on your list of books that you have read Ivan and the Moscow circus, i have also read it and i think its very good. I have also read Ivan and the informer.
I added you to my friends list if you don't mind.
