Show & Tell -- My Afghan!

My show and tell is an afghan I just finished crocheting. Here are a couple of pictures:

Like i said, I just finished it, but I've been working on it off and on for more than two years! It wouldn't have taken me that long at all if I'd just sat down and finished it, but I was lazy... I don't remember what got me started on this pattern, but I'm glad I did it! It's warmer than the quilt I had on my bed before this -- perfect for winter!

I taught myself to crochet several years ago -- I don't even remember how many! Several years ago my grandma taught me how to knit, and I really enjoyed that for a while, but then I kind of put it away for a long time, and now I feel really clumsy and slow when I try to do it. But I can still crochet!

Show and Tell is hosted by Canadagirl.

Oh, wow! It's beautiful! I haven't attempted a full-sized afghan yet, but I am in the process of crocheting a baby blanket. I think that's great that you finished it, even if it did take you 2 years!

I like your template, by the way. Yes, I agree--three-column templates do seem to be all the rage.

Hi Alison.
That's a really nice afgan. I LOVE to crochet but the biggest thing I've made is a scarf!
Do you want to be friends?
