Bruce and the Spider Audio

About a year ago Homeschool Radio Shows put together an audio collection of kids reading good stories. In order to be selected, I had to do an audition for it. This was to record myself reading a short story about Robert Bruce. I did the audition and tried to send it to them, but it never made it! I was soooo disappointed!!! Well, I still have the audition saved on my computer, and recently I got this really neat idea to set music and sound effects to it. It was so fun! I put it all together last week, and I am sooo pleased with the way it turned out (I love that music!!! LOL. ) Beth, I think I know you well enough to say that you will like this audio. Of course, I could be wrong, but I hope I'm not. Let me know what you think!

Click on the picture below to stream the audio directly from the internet. If that doesn't work for you on your computer, please right-click on it (or control+click for Mac users) and click on "Save Target as..." or "Save Link as..." depending on which browser you are using. Download the file to your computer and then play it like you would any other audio file you have. Enjoy!!

Oh, you have such a beautiful speaking voice! And what an interesting tale!! You are right, I quite enjoyed it :-). Hm, now if only you could do a Scottish accent... ;-)
Thanks so much for letting me know you posted this. Talk to you later!

You did a good job with this, and I know you had a great time. Keep experimenting -- you are learning so much! I agree with Booklover. Next time, write your own story! Maybe you could do this with something you have already written... like your story about dad racing the storm home.
I love you!

Bravo!!!!! That was great (and I'm suprised that it worked for our computer)!!! It's to bad that it never made it there!!! It sounded wonderful!!

I'm sooo glad that your violin lesson went well, it would be awful if she moved!!! I hope it keeps going well!!!

And yes, your e-mail arrived here safe and sound, sorry I didn't let you know! I'm working on answering it!!

For the having to be only members to see my posts - a couple of my friends do it and you wouldn't get any bad, anonymous, comments. But I don't know, I'm able to change my mind quickly!!!

Have a GREAT day!!!

Hullo!

I'm funny? Oh...well, thank you! :-D And thanks also for the lovely email--it was well worth waiting for.

The big room came about when the previous owners built this house--they turned what should have been a garage into a room. We used to have our church meet there :-D. Now it's a music room, laundry room, extra living room, play room, guest bedroom...and the sort. No, it's not quite a gymnasium!! ;-)

Oh! I'm sooo sorry! I forgot all about it. Silly me! ^_^

I actually showed it to my sister Sandy, and she loved it and asked if she could have it! She wants the header to say "Spring Is Here".

Thank you sooo much for waiting this long to hear back from me. 0_0

Have a blessed day,
Sarah

Hey Alison! I just remembered that I never replied to your comment about the Crown and Covenant series--how bad of me! But anyway...I do understand you not finishing it at once ;-). Duncan's War is definitely the slowest of the three...or maybe they're all slow, and I just have a knack for ploughing through things? Ha...whatever the reason, perhaps you'll get through it someday! :-D

Love,

~Beth
