Misc Pics
The other day I get this e-mail from
BookwormMN. She says, "
Well, I don't know about you, but when I meet someone I like to know about how they live and see lots of things that you see normally. hint hint... you can show as many pictures on your blog as you want!!"

I had kind of been out of ideas for a post, but I thought it might be kind of fun to post some random pictures for a change. So thanks for the idea, Amber!

I hope you enjoy! LOL!
Nearly all these pics are courtesy of Amy -- she's been taking pictures like crazy with her "new" (to her) camera. And I love it. She gets some nice ones! Her camera has this screen that you can pop out and even turn around,

so you can take a self-portrait and see what you're doing at the same time! She uses that quite often... So goofy.
We just finished The Crown of Kuros, the fourth book in
The Terrestria Chronicles, which we were reading for family devotions.
Dad,
Amy, and I have read the series before, but the rest of the family hasn't. But they are very good! Here's Dad reading one of the last chapters.

(He got tired of Amy taking a bazillion pictures of him and hid behind the book. LOL.)
Hardly a day goes by without someone playing our piano. We got this piano from my mom's parents many years ago (six or seven?). My grandpa had refinished it,

and it is beautiful! Many guests in our home have commented on how pretty it is. The sad thing is, it's more than half-a-step low, and we can't tune it up to the right pitch because something inside is messed up and something will break (wonderful description, huh?). But it is a huge blessing regardless!! I play it every single day.
Emily got out this puzzle, but I don't think she ever put it together. It's a map of the U.S., and she wanted to bring the top

of the box to church so she could show
Kinley where
PlainJane lives (MN). I told her no, Mrs. M knows where PlainJane lives. LOL.
I read one of Amy's Landmark books on the F.B.I in one morning. It was so intriguing that I didn't even brush my teeth until like 11:30. LOL! But it was so interesting! Did you know that the F.B.I. played a huge role in WWII, busting German spies? Wow, that was neat to learn! If you can tell from such a small picture, I was very into it (wide-eyed). No, I

was not posing, and I didn't realize I was doing that.
Nice pic of my hair, Amy. She takes pictures of the weirdest things sometimes... LOL! Actually she was not just taking pictures of my hair. She was taking lots of pictures of me doing my math (although, I must admit, I was not getting all that much math done since I was posing for her, as well).

So she was not really taking pics of my hair, but she did take that one. But I really don't know what gets into her sometimes.
So then we traded jobs. She gave me her camera, and I took pictures of her while she posed. I love this one of her, and I really wish it was in better focus. Isn't that a great picture of her?!! If it was clearer, I might put it on my desktop (or something).

Now, Amy, don't protest. I like it!
Dad took three of us (not sure which three, LOL! but I think this was the other three girls) on a walk, and Amy got this neat picture. Cool, huh? Hmm, maybe I should have titled this post "Amy's Photography" or something similar. Hee hee.
Amy took this pic (surprise!!) of me playing the violin. That's a different kind of angle! I believe I was playing Brandenburg

Concerto No. 3. So pretty!!! Mom found a copyright-free version online. It even says on it, "Unrestricted modification and redistribution is permitted and encouraged -- copy this music and share it!" Woo hoo! I love stuff like that.
And... I got this
great picture of Amy and
Cherryblossom at

church Sunday night. LOL!!!! Ugh, don't you hate it when that happens?
Oh, dear, I didn't get one picture of
Elisabeth in here, did I? Hold on, let me dig through my files... aha, here's a nice one that my mom dug out of her computer for me. Elisabeth is the most photogenic person in our family, and as

a result Amy was taking tons of pictures of her. She is very pretty, don't you agree?
Hmm, I didn't get one of
Mom, either, but I don't think she would like me to. She always says Yuck about almost every single picture of herself. So, to be a good daughter... I will not post one.
And just in case you were wondering what my desktop looks like... tada! (LOL -- I'm sure you were wondering about that...) I love this picture. Ahhhh, such a refreshing scene! And, surprisingly, it was
not taken by Amy. My uncle took it on one of his mountain biking trips a couple years ago.
I hope you all enjoyed that little peak into my life!

My mother says "Yuck" to almost every picture of her, too!
Ah, the Russian Revolution. I have always been fascinated by the story of Anastasia, but I really got into to it when I went and stayed with my Aunt this last Fall/Winter. She loves Russian literature, Russian Music, etc. I got kind of interested. I had no clue that Russia was a part of WWI. Anyway, I have only read one book about it, and it was quite extensive, called Nicholas and Alexandra. I don't know what your standards are in reading, so I don't know if if would be something you would be interested in. There were parts that I definitely had to skip, because of inappropriate content on the part of Rasputin. Other than that, the book was mostly interesting, sometimes, even the politics.
Have a very bright, very cheerful day!

Now I guess I should do more pics too...
I posted about my new violin though!!! Horray!! I saw a tiny picture of what your violin looks like today - but funny, we have never really talked about what our violin or violin case looks like!! I guess there isn't a whole lot to say.
Sorry I haven't been e-mailing, yesterday I didn't get on with all the excitment and today I had to post about all the excitement!! Probably tomorrow! :-)

Oh, how fun to get to see a day of your life in pictures!! *grin* That's so cool - I really should try that sometime.
Yeah, with Script Frenzy you can do any type of script - move script, radio script, a play, etc. I'm so excited about it!
To answer your question, with a playlist you choose the songs from the ones they already have (and they have a LOT). With some artists they only have a few songs, but with others they have their entire collection - so it's really a matter of searching and seeing what comes up. I think you might be able to upload music to their site yourself, but don't quote me on that, because it's just a hunch, and I haven't really investigated it.
The cool thing about the playlists is that you can keep adding songs to them after you create them, so that if you find a new song on someone else's playlist that you would like for your own, you can just click the add button, and it will add it to your playlist! *loves her playlist*
Anyways, I hope that helped!

Hi Alison!
Isn't he cute? But he isn't that, "Lovy dovey" lol
He would wiggle and scratch. As I read your coment he was running around being crazy (A usual morning, I usally wake up to nails scratching on the tile floor from a running kitty trying to make the corner, LOL!!!!) He is a nice boy but isn't the cuddling type.
Nice pictures! I think you all are beutiful! :) I bet that pic of Beth was taken at you Garndma and Grandpa's? (I can tell by the green hammock! LOL)
Well, I G2g!! We need to leave for violin!!

I decided to move because I couldn't think of anything to post, and neither could Micah. I figured if we got a blog together, then there would be twice as many posts as when we were blogging on our own. See? =)
Thanks for visiting!
