Well What Do You Know
First of all, thank you all for your support. I didn't realize how many other people were going through the exact same thing!

So what would happen after I post that entry than the very next day get an idea and sit down and write 2,000 words! I sort of have an idea for the plot... right now it's more like a general direction, but we'll see what happens. Yesterday I wrote another 1,700. I think the reason it is going so well all of the sudden is based on three facts:
  1. I am writing about something that I find interesting.
  2. I am writing in first person, just letting the writing flow (who cares if it's grammatically correct? In fact probably a good chunk of it is NOT. But I don't care for once!).
  3. I didn't wait to come up with an entire plot before I began writing. I just thought of a good opening sentence or two and went from there.
And even if I never finish this new... book? it's great to be back to writing again anyway!!

However, with blogging... another story. I guess maybe that's more of a matter of being lazy and just needing to sit down and write something.

So glad you thought of Something!
I also do that a lot, I think of the first four sentences, and then from then on, I just keep going, I don't have it planned!

I got your cbox messages! I answered back to them!

Good for you! Bluejane just reminded me this morning that NaNoWriMo is coming in just a few months, so I'm starting to think of what I want to write for that. It will definitely be a challenge!

My story is about three children who live on a boat called Steak House. It used to be a restaurant, but it is converted into a house. I don't have much more than that, though.

Have a very bright, very cheerful day!

I am SO bad at trying to think kof what HSB was :D (silly me :D )

Anyway, yes I know Amber, I have gotten on her blog before, but I don't get on there as much as I do yours..... Yes I was the Anna that was asking about the Kate Dunlap thing, but now you answered back about it!

And also, you are pretty close in guessing what I am doing, but not quite :D

Posted by JessicaLetchford

Hi Alison
Keep up the great work! I'm looking forward to learning more about your... plot.

Mum bought us the latest Jonathan Park series recently, and Nomi and Daniel went through it TWICE within 50 hours! Do you get JP on the radio, or is it only on audio in the USA?

God bless!
Jessica

That's very good that you have the ability to write!
I've always wanted to write a book, but I'm afraid I'm not a very good writer!
Thank you for your encouraging comment on my blog.
I admit, interacting with younger children has actually always been a struggle for me.
It was funny you shared about your violin student...
the Lord really convicted me of the need to be more loving
towards children around 2 years ago when I started teaching piano.
I noticed how my students looked up to me, and other children in church, then I thought... boy, I really need to work at being a better older sister!
I prayed and asked God's help, and now I actually enjoy being with them!
I love how the Lord can completely change our hearts and views on things!
Again, thank you for your comment on my blog!
I enjoyed visiting yours.

Sorry I haven't replyed to your comments... seems every time I get on here and see that I have a comment to read, my mom calls me to do the laundry or to eat supper or something... ;-)

Yeah, Iceskating is REAL fun. Until the day after it. Ouch. I was actually sore for two days...

Actually, Beth would hate it if I did Nano Wrimo, last year I did it, but all by myself and she wouldn't let me get on the forum thingy... *sniff* ;-)

Wow, that's fabulous! You should post some of it on here sometime. :) (Or actually, maybe I should just go read what you sent me so long ago and I STILL haven't got around to reading. That's probably a better idea. :D)

Anyhoo, how've you been? It's been forever since we've talked! I'm wildly busy with all sorts of things, and meeting several deadlines on Friday...after which hopefully things will calm down at least a little. :)

Hmmm... *reads above comment* Wow. Um...sister dear...I never knew you were doing NaNo last year, nor that you wanted to be on the forums. Guess I should head over to your room so we can talk. ;)
