Announcing...
That's right, folks, we now have a new column on
The HSB Backyard! I'm excited about this, and I hope you will be, too. This is simply a way for kids ages 6-17 to showcase their photography in a competitive way. There are no prizes -- it is just for fun. Enter your photo each week, and be sure to check back when the winner is posted! See
the post on the Backyard for more details, and then send in your photo. If you like to take pictures, head right over. This is for you!
In other news, I got tired of waiting for the new HSB before I got a new template, so I made one yesterday. I love it! Only... something is wrong. It's like HSB is simply ignoring part of the HTML coding! It is so frustrating! So it will be up soon, I am just working on it right now.

Alison... I would really LOVE to do this, but I can't. Because I can't email people I don't know.. ( I am not saying I don't know you.. But I am sure you understand :D) And also I can't give out my email :(
So anyway... It is a great Idea though! I hope it goes well!

That's okay, Anna, I completely understand! If you want to, you can upload your picture on Photobucket (or whatever photo host you use) and post a comment with the direct link to the photo.
And that goes for everyone else who can't give out their e-mail address, too! :D

Oooh, how exciting about both the contest, and your new template! I hope you can put it up soon!
I do have a plot for my NaNoWriMo book. One of the neat things about NaNo is that you are only writing a first draft. You don't need to worry about going back to fix mistakes, or plot holes, or anything. You only goal is to get to your goal! Have you checked out NaNoWriMo's Young Writer's Program? I think it is the same as the original one, except you get to choose how many words to write. Here's a link!

As to cabling, it isn't very hard. I learned simply by picking a pattern with simply cables, and following the directions! If I got stuck, I would go look up tutorials or explanations online. You can find a world of knitting and crocheting information online.
Have a very bright, very cheerful day!

*hangs head in shame* Yes, I thought from the beginning that you would be disappointed with the results, BUT you have taught me a fine lesson my friend! No harm in trying, right?
As for the novelty wearing off, I think I have some ideas to help solve that.... I shall have to discuss with my Mum however about them.
As a side note, she said it's safe to mess with HSB HTML again, so you can finish that template!

I saw that on the Backyard--that's an awesome idea! Are you going to post the winning photo/photos after you judge? It'd be fun to see all the entries!

Dear Alizona,
Thank you for your nice comment. I am glad you enjoyed the story, Mrs. Marlow was a great teacher. I must say I have been meaning to comment on your blog, too. I have been friends with your sister for a while. Yes I would not mind at all if you add me to your friends list.
Thanks for telling me about that music site. I haven't had a chance to listen to anything yet, but I looked at the site and it looks good.

Hi!
Thanks for letting me know about the drawing! I'm going to enter, although that's the one we have the pattern for. :o) But I mise as well.
And I'm not sure if Anna's going to enter that contest or not, I think she should. :o)
Love,

Hullo!!
~CONCERNING GMAIL.
Oh...so maybe thats the problem...*rushes off to see if she can fix it*
~CONCERNING IE
I actually have firefox on my comp., but see, like gmail, it has a grudge against me or something. ;) It says it doesn't work...but it was working perfectly a while ago! And I personaly don't really like google chrome...its REALLY slow...but I guess ANYTHING would be better than Internet Explorer... :-P
~CONCERNING THE 45 MINUTE THING
I have to do a debate...all by myself...well, I mean, I'm debating someone, but I don't have a partner to help me along...and I have to talk about "Competition vs. Cooperation" and why "Motovational Competition" is much better than "Cooperation..." I personaly don't agree with what I have to say...but oh well :) I can't change it either. I have to stick to the resolution, or else I will get beaten by the negetive team...aand I only have 3 minutes prep time!!!! **GASP**
Have I thouroghly confused you? ;) Thats okay...its confuzing... :)
